  1. bb4l, I hope your girlfriend isn't 8 feet tall http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Anyway, I actually feel pretty good with Bush going today. If he keeps the ball down like he has in his last several starts, we should be okay. If not...I'm sitting in the first row of 103 to catch any long balls.
  2. Gaah, I really feel for Spurling, whatever the problem is. I was at the KC finale (the 11-inning loss) and got there early enough to see the players and their kids take BP on the field. I remember Chris was out there with his young son I believe. Now I really wish I hadn't seen that... As for Manny...Welcome to the Show!
  3. Haha! DP! I'll take it. Let's get some runs!
  4. Crap, this is not good...Crappy inning.
  5. Good move there in pulling Soup. It looks like Ned fought the temptation to keep the "inning-eater" in there.
  6. I agree with "above the left field bleachers." Back in June against the Cubs for the day game, a few friends and I drove out from Madison on a whim, bought Terrace Reserved seats but stood behind sections 237 and 238. My only complaint was the weather. The outfield panels were open and there was a wind tunnel that made the 80 degree day feel like 60.
  7. I really thought Soup was gonna give the runs back. Kudos to him for getting the DP and strikeout. He looks like he's got it today...knock on wood.
  8. Sheets or Gallardo. Sheets obviously if he can go, but if not, I say go with the hot hand.
  9. I didn't see the interview, what happened? I'm happy with the win, but I was against Graffy pinch hitting. He doesn't strike out much, for sure, but thinking longterm, imagine the good that a game winner could've done for Weeks' bat. Yost was playing the percentages with Graff, and I generally agree with that, but my gut said stick with Rickie...Good thing it worked out.
  10. What's bugging me is having to wait for Part 2 of season six of the Sopranos on DVD. With so much time before it comes out, I just know I will cave and look up what happened, and I will be inevitably disappointed when I actually do watch. Does anyone know when the DVD comes out?
  11. Not a bad list, but I would probably include Yovani's first start in there somewhere, either over Opening Day or the Twins game in May. The game had tons of excitement -A top pitching prospect winning his first start. -A monster Fielder homer -A thrilling 9th inning...Brewers one run lead, bases loaded, 2 out, 3-2 count.
  12. Prince Fielder has been parodied by the Simpsons, the ultimate honor. He is now officially a star. Go NL!
  13. Grrrr. Chris Berman stinks. Mr. "Bak Bak Bak" can go shove his condescension of small market teams, like us.
  14. Thanks BucketheadBrigader / Yost. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  15. I strongly doubt Yost will get fired, but for the first time ever I am entertaining the idea.
  16. I've defended Ned's bullpen use all year, but what the hell is he thinking today? I swear, if Ned Yost calls Cappy a "gamer" in the postgame interview I will puke.
  17. This feels just like the 5th inning last night. Liners everywhere...
  18. Nice job walking Jimenez... And...it costs us.
  19. Prince can keep those shades on as much as he wants.
  20. This is so frustrating. How have we not yet lit up this clown? At least the Cubs are losing...
