This series so far has reminded me of the series in Stl after the all star break in '08: stealing 3 games in the late innings, plus a shutout from the ace to make it a sweep (hope I didn't just jinx Greinke) Btw I loved BA's call of the game winner and Rock's perfectly-timed jinx.

I just don't get it. Yeah, RRR loves Kotsay, but out of all nights, in that massive outfield, why tonight? Although, today gives us probably the most favorable pitching matchup of the mini-road trip. I hope I'm not cursing the Brewers, but Moseley just isn't very good.

Matt Capps threw at Prince's head in 2007. Ryan had the nerve to be happy about a pennant race changing grand slam in 2008. Jeff Karstens plunked Ryan in 2009 and Ryan mouthed off about it a bit after the game. And yeah, there was that lengthy win streak over PIT, then a lengthy home win streak over PIT. I seem to remember something with Prince running over the catcher, I believe, the night before the Capps throwing at his head game. I think they felt it was unnecessary, which is why they threw at him the next day. I think both games were come from behind wins. Looking at the schedule it may have been Aug 31 of '07, if someone wants to fact check. I'm pretty sure it was actually earlier in the year: late April, early May-ish. It was a weekend series, and Capps plunked Fielder immediately after JJ homered on Saturday, and then when Prince scored the winning run on Sunday, he was extremely pumped, and kind of got in Capps face, who had been pitching. IIRC that's pretty much what started this mess, and since then we've had drama with Karstens/Braun, Kerwin/Kendall, Weeks/Cedeno. You think absolutely owning a team for 5 years may have something to do with it?

This is probably the most I've heard BA and Rock complain about calls behind the plate all season, and its only the top of the 3rd.
