    Mike Maddux strikes again. What's that mean? Balfour's gotta throw sometime, a tie game's a good a time as any. Turnbow and Cordero have been worked enough as it is. Well, at least we know who is going to get sent down when Hall comes off the DL. There's overreaction and then there's bf.net IGT overreaction..

    Does anyone know if HE is on a pitch limit this year, and if so how close he is to reaching it? He's pitched 106 innings this year, and 86 the year before. He probably isn't due for a huge jump either although at least he's a little older and I imagine they don't have a real problem with him starting the rest of the year (if he leaves the bullpen or returns to AAA).

    That was something else. I've never felt that uncomfortable from humidity in my life after they closed the roof. It was pretty bad for Yo's debut this year too. Not pass-out bad, but still super hot and muggy.

    If he has those numbers, it doesn't matter when he started the season! (In fact, that only makes it more impressive). I'd certainly vote for him, especially considering the black hole that otherwise would be playing 3B.

    We're going to Baltimore-DC area for a few days in August. Currently planning on Baltimore for a thursday (including Camden Yards vs M's), then DC Fri-Sun. Obviously there's Smithsonian, monuments, etc. If you have any other suggestions, offer them here. Thinking about doing a generic city tour of Baltimore during the day, but open to other recommendations.
