  1. I'll take them both for $35. I'll be at the game Sunday. I'm sitting at a Fridays, but I'm sure we can meet up somewhere. I'll PM you my cell #. Let me know if we have a deal.
  2. Tony Gwynn - Life of the Party - Snoop Dogg (and Too Short) Clip Used "I'm the life of the party, It don't take much, for me to get started. Every time you see me, I'm with a bunch of girls. Straight to the table, in my own world. The ballplayers know me, movie stars too" Other than the Lupe Fiasco cut, I don't remember what everyone else used.
  3. And I can alllllways tell when the fans get sas-ified. Because when they get sas-ified, they start callin' my name. They says, "Ryan Braun. Ryan Braun. Ryan Braun. Ryan Braun"
  4. I know. I've got that on my watchlist. Surhoff was one of my favorite players.
  5. The Brewers rummage sale was on one side of the Stadium, the vendors and dealers were on the complete opposite side of the stadium. The Brewers rummage consisted of some old promo giveaways, media guides from around the league, balls and tshirts (nothing you'd find in the gift shop. Mostly co sponsor ship shirts like they give when you participate in some sort of Brewers related event.) Of course the big draw is the game used jerseys. Very rarely are there any "names" in the lot. For $75-$100 you too can own a Valario De Los Santos or Frank Kremlas jersey! From what I saw this year, the biggest name in the lot was Tyler Houston. On the vendor side, there was a good variety of stuff. It was like a mini card show with everything you expect to see at a cards show - cards, display items, game used bats, jerseys, trinkets, and other misc memorabilia. I'd say there were 12-18 dealers there. We decided that we were not going to bother with the autographs this year and I couldn't have been more pleased with the decision. We had a great time and I left the stadium with three (tightly packed) bags worth of stuff. The best part of it was the absolute steals I got on the jerseys made up for the $10 I wasted on the Ryan Braun Grab Bag.
  6. Here are a few of my favorites. Soup vs Pujols From early last season. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/tare.jpg Prince goes deep in the 9th I had the camera set to take snap a frame each second. It captured this great sequence. Note how every person in the second photo is looking up and watching the ball. He crushed it. Absolute moonshot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/princeHR07.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/princeHR07b.jpg Cheaters? No wonder our offense was so potent. Two runners on each base = more runs! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/2runners.jpg Base hit to right! Jeff Suppan lacing a single to the opposite field. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/suopx10BAT.jpg Yo Gets Loose. You can say all you want about the elder Estrada, but come on...how can you hate this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_2085.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_2098.jpg Random Others... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_2034.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_2028.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/pfp.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_2022.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/IMG_0248.jpg
  7. I know the guy your talking about. Why he had that many Kevin Riemer bats is beyond me, but thats not who I got mine from. I actually got mine at the last Gonzaga hall card show. Coincidentally enough, that vendor was also at the on deck event, but about 3 tables to the left of the one your talking about.
  8. Anyone else think Ryan Braun's new walk up song is a perfect fit for his personality? His walk up song this weekend was Lupe Fiasco "Superstar". If you are unfamiliar with the song, the sound byte Braun has chosen for himself says, "If you are who you say you are - a superstar - then have no fear." It got me thinking. I wonder what other songs Ryan thinks describe himself. Any guesses?
  9. Yeah. I've never ventured upstairs for the On Deck Event. Are there that many memorabilia vendors there every year? I recognized a few of the guys, but not all. Anyhow, I was able to pick up three "complete" game used uniforms (that is, jerseys and pants) for the bargain basement price of $78 - Total. Not bad. I've never been more a fan of Davey Nelson, Mike Crudale and Adrian Hernandez as I am right now. There was a game used Geoff Jenkins Ceveceros jersey for $300. I offered $200 for it but the guy said he just bought it this morning for "more than that". He didn't say how much more though. I also thought long and hard about the Matt Wise auto'd jersey, but passed.
  10. To bad FSN has the Brewers over a barrel until 2012.
  11. $3 tickets certainly doesn't hurt.
  12. Me too. $8 +$5 shipping = Awesome deal for me.
  13. They just restarted the franchise with Batman Begins. Oh and my vote is for Batman. By a HUGE margin.
  14. My son knows the truth about Santa and the Easter Bunny but (surprise, surprise) he tried to play dumb with regards to the Tooth Fairy. Needless to say, we're done paying cash for teeth in my house - at least until the little one starts losing teeth. Anyhow the going rate in my house was $5.
  15. Any photos? I have two signed prince bats already, but can you really ever have to many?
  16. I would certainly have interest as the season goes on. Tough for me right now to tell you which exact dates, by if you've got some sort of contact info I would definitely contact you from time to time looking for tickets. Let me know.
  17. In the spirit of Pedro... it's free. Just send me an address. BTW, after Razzor, I'm already out of posters. Sorry.
  18. Pedro, I'm always impressed. I'm in.
  19. If anyone is still interested I was able to pick up a couple of posters today.
  20. The game has been on my DirecTv guide since at least last Sunday. Ch 642.
  21. Sorry, not a new show. From Comingsoon.net... Spike TV has engineered the biggest movie purchase in the net's 22-year history, ponying up between $65 million and $70 million for a six-year exclusive deal covering all six of Lucasfilm's "Star Wars" movies, reports Variety. The blockbuster in the deal was Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, which Spike TV will get in the first network window in April, 2008. That's the earliest window a cable network has ever landed to a "Star Wars" movie; the first five titles began their TV life on the Fox Network. Two more recent "Star Wars" pics -- "Attack of the Clones" (2002) and "The Phantom Menace" (1999) -- have had runs on Fox but have never shown up on cable before. Spike TV will get them and the original three films in April, 2008. The original "Star Wars" trilogy has played on a number of broadcast and cable networks over the past two decades. But Spike TV expects to chalk up lots more Nielsen numbers through heavily promoted stunts and marathons.
  22. I have a full size White Gorman. Let me know.
  23. I really liked Donnie Brasco, though I was disappointed they completely removed the Milwaukee Mob/Donnie Brasco connection from the story line. Extra points to those of you who realize that our very own Brewers Owner Mark Attanasio's brother - Paul Attanasio - wrote the screen play for Donnie Brasco.
  24. Last season there was a fairly long and somewhat heated debate about whether or not the player pages on Facebook- particularly JJ Hardy and Ryan Braun - were real or not. Well, it seems we have an answer. I'm sure this won't end the debate but I thought that all the "old people over 27 who don't understand the internet and young people" would enjoy this. It's Not Them
