  1. I got mine last year during the peak of Christmas shopping. I think I must have just been at the right place at the right time. I was shopping at the target in Delafield. I had all but given up hope of finding one in time for Christmas when lo and behold - five of them! I bought it right there. Anyway...keep checking the big online retailers everyday. Sears.com had them in stock this morning, but not anymore. Walmart.com has them - but only as a $550 bundle. Find yourself a good "Wii Tracker" and check it frequently - several times a day. Good luck
  2. Thank you. I've been glued to the computer for 2 and a half days working on a never ending project for a new client and I was getting cranky. This instantly made me feel better.
  3. Really? Humm. I guess I'm a bit out of date with the prices. Sorry. Well I'm still open to any other offers.
  4. I have a 2004 powder blue full size Jim Gantner SGA bobble head for sale. Most of you know this one is fairly rare and the price reflects that. I've been thinking about putting one on ebay for awhile because they usually sell for aver $100. Problem is I don't have time to wait for an auction to end. So if you can pay today via paypal I am willing to sell it for $85. I can do local pick up, I live in Pewaukee or ship for an extra $5. If there is no interest I'll still put it on ebay. Sorry about the short "deadline" but something came up and I need a little cash.
  5. They only mock the ones they love...
  6. Well, I for one will be doing something I haven't done in years: Attend a home game at Miller Park against the Cubs. I planned on going the past April when the Cubs were in town, but I wound up working instead. After seeing the turnout of Cub fans I decided to stay away on the next visit and sold me tickets. Next year I will buy tickets to as many Cubs/Brewers game as I can. Each game I go to means one less Cubs fan. Hopefully the Brewers can figure out a meaningful way to try to keep tickets in the hands of Brewer fans. I think we can be beyond the point where we need to rely on Cubs fans to fill the park. 31 sellouts this year, we don't need them!
  7. Can we all agree to buy and KEEP our Cubs/Brewers tickets? I'd love nothing more than to actually "Take Back" Miller Park (for real this time).
  8. Kind of like a zero... http://gobrewersgo.com/brewerplanet3.jpg
  9. No one knows for sure because those kind of things can change for any number of reasons. But given the obvious connection to another Mexican Brewer pitcher Teddy Higurera I'd say Yo keeping #49 is very likely.
  10. Moving my post here from the closed thread (sorry, didn't see this one). I've been posting in the Major League forum and everything I submit shows up before (above) the post's I'm responding to. Any Ideas? I'm not the only one having this problem. It's pretty annoying.
  11. Yeah, bklnbrew take it to the vent thread....oh wait.

  13. Around 6:30 for a 7pm game
  14. Making the leap that Ned isn't still running the show from the tunnel, each time Ned gets tossed the announcers make a point of saying the Maddux handles the pitchers and Sveum handles the defense and batting in his absence.
  15. With FOX now showing Saturdays game, FSN-WI has picked up the final game of he season.
  16. Unread Message Fun things to do when alone *Slowly backs out of the room*
  17. Yeah, I have a white pennant that reads "World Champions" also. I think I may have a few buttons and a t shirt that say the same thing. I was only six in 1982. All I knew at the time was that everyone was excited and that the Brewers were awesome. I wasn't really hip to the whole "League Champs" or "World Champs" stuff yet. But I had so much stuff that said "World Champions" on it it took my until 1987 to realize that the stuff was misprinted.
  18. "Milwaukee Brewers 2007 NL Central Division Champions Roster T-Shirt" is also available.
  19. I would be all over something like this. $5 a game? How about discounting it to $3/game if you pay upfront with your season tickets.
  20. Thank you, it just means I have to much time on my hands.
  21. This is how I vent. I waste time in photoshop. As much as it killed me to do this, it actually felt rather good in an odd way. Playoff hopes fade http://gobrewersgo.com/brewersfold.jpg
  22. One thing I found interesting on that site is that the only notes listed under Brewers uniform changes for next year is "Removal of commemorative sleeve patch". Other teams have "Elimination of current alternate home uniform" but not the Brewers. I guess that means the "Retro" jerseys are here for at least one more year. I was kind of hoping to get rid of those. I love them, but I want to move past 1982. And on that topic, looks like the Brewers started a trend. The Blue Jays and the Royals are both going with "retro" alternative uni's next year. Take a look at the Blue Jays. I thought I had seen the last of these mono-colored jumpsuits. http://logan-1.mirror.waffleimages.com/files/66/66cd4bca46909fa93358078a07e62c3d2080fbf1.jpg

  24. I'm proud to say we had the game on in the delivery room while my first son was born. Ben McDonald struck out 10 batters and Jeremy Burnitz hit a game winning home run that night. It was a good night.
  25. Talk like a Pirate day huh? I'll try... "Nice stadium, but I should still fire my agent"
