  1. The Brewers website, under "Fan Forum" then click "Autograph Schedule" on the left side. The section won't be posted until a few hours before the signings. You can call the Brewers on the day of and ask, they usually have the exact section for each player. Direct Link
  2. MLB is so afraid of a repeat of the "Nomar" incident of a few years ago. I understand the concern, but I wish they could come up with an easier system. Then again, I've got no real ideas on how to improve it.
  3. I think it used to be 24 hours, but this year I've been able to get games only a hour or so after the fact. Right this minute (5:54pm) I'm watching todays game on MLB.tv already.
  4. I also have Cingular. Do you happen to know the model numbers on the phones?
  5. i know, it's an odd thing to request but people upgrade their phones all the time. I'm just hoping someone has one laying around that they don't need. A long shot? Probably. And to answer your question they are Pro Stock bats not player specific. Those two particular bats were used in Spring Training 2006.
  6. Long story short, I broke my cell phone and I need a new one. I'm willing to trade some combination of the following items and perhaps some cash for an unlocked phone. 1. One black game used Louisville Slugger model C271 pro stock baseball bat signed by JJ Hardy with a silver marker. Lots of pine tar on the handle and a cupped end. Very nice. 2 One blond game used Louisville Slugger model M110 pro stock bat signed by Corey Hart with a blue sharpie. Some light pine tar on the handle. Very clean bat. 3 One game used MLB baseball signed by Ryan Braun with a blue pen. 4 One 2007 SGA Prince Fielder Bobble Head (white) 5 One 2007 SGA Bill Hall Bobble Head (white) 6 One 2007 SGA Retro Cecil Cooper Bobble Head (powder blue) I'm looking for a nice phone in good condition with a decent camera (my last phone had a 1.3 megapixel camera) and mp3 ringtones. I'd prefer something from Samsung. The phone obviously needs to be unlocked so I can use my phone number. http://gobrewersgo.com/battrade.jpg http://gobrewersgo.com/balltrade.jpg
  7. Doesn't Coco drive a Ferrari? I don't know. Are you sure it wasn't a Kia? Because I heard Elmer really souped that thing up. Seriously though, what do you think his team mates said the first time he showed up in that? It's not even the "Amanti". Edit: sorry, looks like jason beat me to it.
  8. There is a guy at the gonzaga card show who sells them for $2 each. They ebay for up to $10. I bet you I can find one somewhere around my house for ya. It might be a little beat up, but it's yours if you want it.
  9. I've actually got 3 halls, 2 white and a retro.
  10. You guys are a lot smarter than I on some of this stuff. Is he not a 200 inning guy due to his age or is it something else? I imagine that would be something that might come with age, would that be a correct assumption.
  11. And I thought I was the only one taking pictures of those boxes. Seriously, I thought you somehow stole my pictures because I took two identical photos.
  12. Here is the link to the Danbury Mints page for this item http://www.danburymint.com/sports/product.asp?code=3045-0084 It's about 8 inches long and 8inches wide. It's really a nice item, I just don't want it. Like I said, I got it for free - so I'm not looking for much in return even though it retails for $65 and ebays for about $25. I'm really open on this item. I'm interested in any Milwaukee Brewers bobble head for it or just about any other Brewer items. Just make me an offer if your interested. I just want to get it to someone who would appreciate it.
  13. http://www.gobrewersgo.com/danmisky.jpg Open to any offers what so ever. It is in perfect condition. I ordered the County Stadium last year and I was mistakenly sent this one. I'll put it on ebay if no one wants, I just thought I'd ask here first.
  14. I've seen the same thing. One of the cards store around here also used to have both 2001 versions in the same Window box. And, for what it's worth, they were both $35.
  15. During the first year (or two?) of bobblehead giveaways the brewers sold the same bobbles via the mail and later at the fanzone. Thats where the differences come in. The SGA Jenkins is the one that says "Piggly Wiggly" the "Jenkins" one is the retail version of the same bobble. I don't know how it affects the price, but I suspect that there are some people that will pay a premium for the SGA.
  16. You know what, I didn't even think to take him over there. Completely forgot about it. He was stoked to get Braun again. We watched the Royals take BP and went to our seats. We'll be there again tomorrow, I'll pay attention this time.
  17. So, how'd it go.I hope you guys had a good time. My son got two balls. Sheets spotted him shortly after we arrived and tossed him a ball. A little later Brian Shouse threw him a ball, which landed short and bounce back into the field. About 5 minutes later Brian came over towards us and gave him a ball. We each got Ryan Braun autos.
  18. If Houlie doesn't want the Indians Sheets, I'm interested.
  19. aracko, check your inbox. I sent you a PM.
  20. Unless they change it during the summer, tonights gates should open at 5:30.
  21. Really? That does suck. The last game I brought the kid to was during the last homestand (Florida) and Jenks, Prince & Cappy were signing down there. Thats to bad. I'll have to check it out myself. It doesn't surprise me though. I've had tickets in the first row and had to deal with everyone wanting to stand there. I didn't think it was a big deal because I knew that once the game started they would be gone.
  22. Well tonight is autograph Friday of course, so getting there early and getting in another line will be your safest bet. (BTW, "early" means in line by 5, gates open at 5:30. The "good" players lines will fill up withing 60 seconds. If she doesn't care who see get an auto from, than just get in line for one of the coaches. You'll get an auto plus you might have time to go back and try to get another "lesser" player). If you don't feel like spending an hour plus in lines, keep in mind that shortly before the game (after BP, usually when the players come back out to stretch) several Brewers will sign for a few minutes down the RF line. Get her down to the front row near sections 109 -111. Someone will sign for her. As for getting a ball, I asked my son for some tips as he has over 30 balls already. He says "Shout, shout , shout" & "don't be rude". He has great success in the RF bleachers, of course he's very loud ("can I please have a ball!!!"). Camping out near the dugout (either side) rarely nets him a ball. Don't wait to catch a ball, get the attention of a player and have her ask for one. Seriously, see needs get a player to notice her. Wave her arms, call players be name - generally be loud (but not obnoxious). Once a player makes eye contact, he might make the "I see ya, I'll get you a ball" gesture (if that makes any sense)? He'll be there tonight, I'd be surprised if he didn't come home with at least one ball. He has got at least one ball at each game he's been to this year. I hope this helps, I'm typing away like crazy because I'm on my way out but I wanted to help.
  23. It depends. I entered near Fridays for the Jim Gantner night and handed the usher two tickets and asked if I could get two bobbles. He said okay and directed the bobble guy to give me two. But for the Prince Fielder bobble day, I did the same thing but was told no, I'd have to re enter. I told the guy about my previous experience and he said "our instructions are not to do that". So it seems that the policy is not to scan multiple tickets per person, but some ushers do anyway.
  24. And on that happy note.... My SO used to clip out pictures of rings from magazines and ads and place them strategically around my office. Got to love the subtle nature of it all. It worked because I had a pretty good idea of what she wanted and she was quite pleased with what I picked out.
