  1. Great, we get to watch a brewer pitcher try to sacrifice.
  2. if OPS is the only indicator used to rate hitters I dare you to find someone who said that OPS is an all encompassing and perfect stat. Only indicator? Good luck finding that because you just made it up. Also, you apparently missed alll the threads describing sample sizes and their importance to stats. Branyan has done excellant this year but has still had a small amount of ABs. I would expect those stats to regress to the mean somewhat. I don't get people around here. Purposly distorting or flat out ignoring facts to "prove" things you don't understand wrong? What's the point of that?
  3. O brother. Is there Brewer offense REALLy going to let this starter dominate them? Sheesh. 2-1, Reds.
  4. Alright, let's win that series tomm and get home!
  5. Yeh, I wouldn't start Eveland yet either. He's been great overall but he has grwing to do. I'd like to see his at the end of nest yea be ready to drive the Crew to the playoffs http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Heh, picked off down by 4. That's something the crew would do http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. OK, I'm really starting to come around to the "Jenkins is well above average defensively." The guy has made some spectacular plays.
  8. Why is Victor getting a win more important than the Brewers winning?
  9. 3-1 pitch, bases loaded. Ya THINK Overbay knew it would be a fastball!? GRAND SALAMI!! 6 RBI's for Overbay. It's the forth inning http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Weeks looks at, what 5 straight fastball and walks in a run. ITt's REALLY nice to see a young guy willing to be patient against a pitcher who's having control problems. There's alot of grizzled vets that aren't willing to do that.
  11. O boy, I can't wait to watch Victor try to bunt. Man, he looks sorry up there. Didn't Yost ask him to suicide squeeze once? O wow, victor pops the bump up. I hate him.
  12. 10 pitch AB results in a walk for Helms. NICE. He hit two a mile but just pulled it foul.
  13. I'm sure Victor really appreciates that being an EARNED RUN. I think refs in football should be on team payrolls too. Yeh, that would make alot of sense. NICE DP! Nice throw, Weeks.
  14. Exhibet # 754466 WHY ERRORS ARE USELESS Hall get's an easy grouder in his glove, bobbles during the tranfer to his hand, causing the runner to be safe. Base Hit. PLEASE.
  15. I tried to warn people that it was a 50/50 chance to even WIN the series.
  16. OMG, why did Yost not have Ohka bat for himself? That's crazy. He looks fine!
  17. Thanks Hall for swinging on a 3-0 pitch.
  18. Billy is hitting .342/.395/.699 v. Cincy lifetime. Not bad. I've never undertood the team splts. Maybe Bill is like a bull; the sight of red makes him hit better? Pitcher/batter splits make sense, team splits are useless.
  19. I know small sample, but Hall has 2 hits in 3 ABs vs Ortiz...Branyan hitless in 6 ABs. I sure HOPE Yost doesn't use anything as meaningless as 3 and 6 AB's. Of course, the supposed smartest guy in baseball (LaRussa) uses them incescently.
  20. I don't even bother watching the pregame. Nothing of value.
  21. Why isn't Branyan playing? Simply put, Yost has never really cared for him. When Melvin had to force Yost into benching his buddy Helms to play Branyan, I'm sure that really ticked Yost off. So, despite Branyan being a better hitter and probably a better defender at 3rd, Hall starts. Sometimes there are more important things than winning!
