As much as Joe Winklesas as a pitcher wasn't that great, the interviews and things I read about him as a person made me stop and take notice. I hope he gets a job as a pitching coach. Good luck Joe!

Actually, on FSN, they showed exactly what happened. GG took his eye off the ball on the popup. He's watching, watching, looking at Damian, drops the ball.

OK, for whatever reason I thought he was skipped over, but I guess I was mistaken...shows how much I'm paying attention! Thanks for clearing that up!

Is Carlos Villanueva still on the team? Last time I checked, he was doing pretty good....why didn't Ned bring him in to relieve GG instead of Wise? Or to relieve Wise? That's one I don't get.

Dan Kolb is not good.....really not good.

    Bill Hall is good.

    Bill Hall is good.

Gross AGAIN in center!! I'm loving it! Will we ever see Brady in CF again? And the baby seal probably was forgotten because there hasn't been a need to give one to a Brewer pitcher for the last 2+ weeks! I'm pumped for this game! I think we can pull it out today and look for the sweep tomorrow!

Bill and Daron, everytime they mentioned Marmol, said he has good stuff....it's either going to be the typical first time seeing a pitcher and we make him look like God, or we're going to give him the baby seal award! Hopefully it's the latter.

I had this sick feeling the whole game, watching the Cards, Reds and Astros losing, and thinking, man, if we can win this game, that would be HUGE! But, we pulled it out, even though it didn't seem like it was going to happen, and hopefully that momentum continues today and tomorrow. Afternoon baseball at the friendly confines? I'll be watching! Things are definitely looking up for the Crew!

I will be missing the first few innings as I have a softball game at 7, but I'm hoping to come home to a lead by the Brewers.

If I remember correctly, Mark McLemore was one of those guys who could fill in at pretty much any position...came up as a second baseman, but played the Bill Hall utility role quite well...so, I guess he's now trying to make it every position he's played in the majors? Hmm....interesting. He's gotta be about 40ish, right?

Apparently Winky made some impression on the Brewers' brass! Kershner had decent numbers, why release him? Oh well.

There was a lot of emotion on Uke's call of the strikeout, as well.
  15. craigharmann
So, with Barnwell getting a pinch hit, does he now take over the role of Gross as #1 pinch hitting option?
  16. craigharmann
We got the lead...let's hang on to it (after we add a few more runs?)
  17. craigharmann
It's always a good day when Corey Hart gets a start....I think they're gonna pull it out today!
  18. craigharmann
Instead of the Weeks-o-meter...it should be the Weeks-E-meter
  19. craigharmann
Sharpie is on tonight! Why can't he pitch like this every outing?

I loved after the homerun call on the radio that there's crowd noise, and Uke makes his horse noise....perfect. There's something about this team that I am completely pulled toward. I get frustrated with them, but I can't leave them. I turned the game off, when it was 2-0, Indians, but turned it back on to find it was 3-3...this team just doesn't quit. I know we have quality outfield depth, but we HAVE to sign Carlos. This team can be quite good for a really long time with Carlos hitting 4th and Prince hitting 5th and Bill Hall hitting 6th!

Uke and Powell talking about Uke being the first Caballo...now, (according to them) Milwaukee is a two-horse town...funny stuff.
  22. craigharmann
    Yee-hah! Moeller with a strikeout....what's new?
  23. craigharmann
Crap! Jackson with a not good pitch and a run scores.
  24. craigharmann
Yeah, but there isn't a lot of commenting currently on the Brewer game.

It's so nice to see the Chubbies losing....
