It could just be seeing the glass half full after a 7 game winning streak, it could be watching the T-Gumbel interview over and over, I don't know. But, I look at it as an opportunity for a prospect to make his mark and move up quickly! Yeah, there's a whole lot of not much on the list, and I was surprised that Arnett was still on the list, but, who else is there? But, it makes the point. A guy can go from bolivion to top prospect quite quickly, if he's consistent and in a system with not a whole lot in it.

Awesome!!!

Watched Telly's interview with Tony Gumbel after the game last night and THAT WAS AWESOME! Just tried to tickle the ball! And Telly was a little surprised about the Plushdamentals....come on Telly, start tweeting so you don't look so lost! Plush is quickly becoming one of my favorite all-time Brewers!

I think they'll win the division. The Pirates are still a year away, the Cards bullpen needs help, and they really just have Poo, Holliday and Berkman as the only decent hitters in their lineup.

Disappointed in Brewers Deadline Moves

I hope not. With their stiffest competition, the classies, getting Jackson, Dotel, and Furcal, while giving up Rasmus, and they're apparently still in the mix for Heath Bell, there's a couple of spots that could and should be upgraded. Shortstop being primary, Third base next in line, and backup OF/bench. Granted JHJ can help with SS/3B and OF, but another guy wouldn't hurt. A big splash guy would be even better, but I don't know if that will happen. Ready to see what the next 45 minutes will bring! COME ON DOUG!!!!!!! -
As Furcal was getting on the plane to fly to St. Louis, he tripped and broke his leg. According to the Cards training staff, he'll be out 3 days.

Gotta wonder what the Rangers are going to do with Feliz, if they're going to keep him in the pen or stretch him back into a starter. I'd keep him in the pen, because that gives them much more strength!

Do you have inside info? I am hoping this is the case, that they still are looking. It does seem like Pence will set the market, which scares me from a Brewer front. They don't have a whole lot to give up and if they give up what they've got, they have to win the next couple of years, because there won't be much!! -
