    I will go on record to say that this is one of the biggest games of the season thus far tonight. We must win for a couple of reasons: 1) Have to win 3/4 this weekend, and winning game 1 is huge 2) We cannot fall back to 3 under .500 If you recall, Santos pitched probably his best game of the year earlier this year against the Giants. Let's hope he keeps it going tonight.

    Please tell me that it's just a nightmare, and we didn't just lose 3-0 to the Dbacks and Claudio Vargas! And to pour salt in the wound, the Cubs came back and won today. I hope I wake up from this horrible dream real soon.

    Well, at least the ScRubs are now losing too! Although it would be a great oppt to possibly gain another game on them. C'mon boys! There's absolutely no way we should get shut out today against Vargas and their horrible bullpen!

    Why do we have to be so Anti-clutch! Look at the line score thus far, and it will tell you why the Nats are in first place, and why the Brewers are under .500 as usual. The Nats have scored 2 runs on 2 freakin hits, meanwhile the Brewers have scored 1 run on 5 whopping hits. Also, what is wrong with Carlos these days. He's striking out at an alarming pace. Not good!

    Am I to assume that Vidro's ground ball would have been a double play had Byrd not stolen second the pitch before? If so, that really sucks!

    By the way, is it just me, or do losses to the Cubs hurt twice as much as losses to any other team. I hate it. Maybe it's because my wife is a Cubs fan?

    Well, back to 7 under .500. Nothing like losing 3 straight after such a great game Saturday night. I really thought that this team might go on a big time streak after Saturday, but I guess we went right back to being the sucky team that we are.

    I'm starting to think it is time for JJ to be sent down to AAA to get things sorted out with the bat. He's hitting .176, and can't even get a bunt down. What besides defense is he good for right now?
