  1. Seeing as he's 32, it seems awkward calling him a 'kid'.
  2. Today, the Nationals completed a three game sweep of the Marlins, and are currently riding an impressive 5-game winning streak. They've improved their record to an equally impressive 37-72, so the question is...are these guys for real?
  3. Fixed that for you.
  4. No reason to be worried. He only posted nine. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gifActually, the 10th was the one with the heart, posted on page 1. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  5. So, cross LA off the list of places Prince could go when he hits free agency? Kinda just adding on to what SoCal said...it's easy to forgive in LA. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Oh man, that kid was so annoying. Derek or whatever his name was.Derek's the father, haha. Tommy is the little kid.
  7. Here's another one that reminds me of that kid:
  8. That kid who sang reminds me of this little guy:
  9. And have Coffey get immediately ejected and possibly suspended? With the incident yesterday, I'd want no part in that....at least for tonight. On another note, thank goodness we got out of that.
  10. At Miller Park, they don't say anything about caps before God Bless America - only before the national anthem.Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I guess my ignorance is due in part to not having been to a game in so long. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  11. I just thought it was an "un-written rule." I mean, they don't announce "Gentlemen, please remove your caps" for nothing....it's just a form of showing respect I guess.
  12. Look at all those Dodger fans with their hats on during the National Anthem....how classy. If only we were playing in St. Louis... Also, am I the only one that was rubbed the wrong way during that kid's performance? Especially that whole spiel after the word 'foam'. It gave me awkward goosebumps. EDIT: This kid sucks. Thank God I'm not the only one that thinks so...
  13. Ughhh I thought that was gone. I also thought Craig slipped his hand on the back corner of the plate before Martin applied the tag. Oh well. A lead is a lead...we'll just see how long this one lasts though...
  14. Here we go again....at least it was quick this time.
  15. I do believe this is the worst start of Yo's career. It'll take quite a few scoreless innings to get that ERA below 3 again. I really hope we're not witnessing him breaking down from carrying that rotation all year. Although, you have to admit, it was bound to happen at some point. Gosh this is awful.
  16. Well, hopefully those are the only two runs they get tonight...hopefully Yo gets some support, as well. EDIT: Well, so much for that... At least I can take a nap or something, now. Sure, there's a chance they could come back, but the way things have been, this one's probably gonna turn out to be ugly.
  17. Thank goodness. I might have to start turning the game off in these situations more often...
  18. ughhh what happened to the old Trevor? EDIT: I had a feeling if we used Trevor tonight, he'd get tagged. The Dodgers just know him way too well. I don't think I can watch the rest of this game...
  19. I wasn't really paying attention earlier, but how come that guy was kicked out? Anyway, it's nice to finally see a pitcher not named Gallardo go more than 5 innings. Also nice to see that we've got (hopefully) enough runs to get Manny the win.
  20. Excuse my ignorance, but why don't we get Geoff Jenkins back? He'd be a great bat off the bench, and would give Hart some days off now and then. When he played in Philly, he still had a decent year coming off the bench, so why don't we give it a shot? I realize his contract used to be a huge problem, but the guy has been unemployed the entire season, and I'm sure he'd love to come back to Milwaukee. I guess I just miss the guy, that's all.
  21. I, too, cannot wait for 1. College Football season (I say that now, but I'm not expecting much from the Badgers), 2. NFL season (The Packers, on the other hand, should do very well), 3. NBA season (again, not expecting much from the Bucks), and then finally 4. The Winter Meetings. So important, I capitalized every word. Wake me up when August ends.
  22. I agree... Heck give Mike Jones a chance at this point... Who? (some of the younger posters might get this one)
