I would imagine either 2B or LF...whichever spot Hall isn't playing that same day. Gamel's at 3rd, Escobar at short, Koshansky at 1st, Katin in right, Patterson center, Hall/Bourgeois LF/2B. I don't know where Heether would play then, though...
Carl Crawford would be delightful. Evan Longoria wouldn't be too bad, either. I suppose if they're looking for someone to take B.J. Upton off their hands, we could be a suitor. I hear Matt Garza, Scott Kazmir, and James Shields are looking for new homes in the midwest region. Ben Zobrist hasn't done much this year, we might as well have him hop on board. Gabe Gross and Gabe Kapler would look spectacular on our bench. Too bad Carlos Pena couldn't DH for us... Am I forgetting somebody?
Sure glad I didn't finish watching this game. Really wish I never would've turned it on the first time, but man.....7-1 and you end up losing 11-7. Unbelievable. Silver lining....Cubs lost. But wait, the Cardinals won. Boo.
Ok, game's going back off. I turn it on, and it's 7-1. I notice there's no HR involved so I decide to watch it. Now, it's 7-5, with Gonzo up, and a runner on. Good night everybody.
So you think Vinny Rottino might break through and take Russell Martin's job? Or maybe Casey Blake's? I hear James Loney isn't that good anymore, either. Rottino's just as blocked, if not more blocked in LA than Milwaukee. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded again.
Goodbye Allen, Bowen, and Stoudemire. Hello Warrick and Weems. Boy I hope this team gets turned around soon. With all the money we're saving, hopefully we'll be in good shape sooner than later.
It is mentioned, in the Rumors/Proposals forum. I think it's a good deal for the Cubs. Gorzelanny has already proven something at the major league level. Reminds me of Manny Parra...had a good year, and now struggling.
Wait, did BA just say Brauny is the first Brewer to hit 20 HR's in his first 3 years? For some reason, that doesn't sound right....Prince had 28, 50, 34, and now 25. Unless they're counting the 39 games in 2005 in which he hit only 2...
Well, I sent my question in: What happens when the manager and all other coaches are ejected? I know it's very unlikely to happen, but...there's gotta be a rule on the rare occasion that it happens. Unfortunately, I've gotta dash, so I won't be able to see if the question is aired. Please let me know if it does! As I type this.....PRINCE SMASH! Funny how it cut off Telly, haha.
I for sure want a Craig Counsell bobblehead next year. Anyone getting a laugh at the repetitive pickoff attempts? Fielder looks like he's beatin the crap out of Nyjer Morgan and Rapuano's givin him the business for gettin so dirty. Good times.
Craig Counsell with his 4th!!!! What a slugger! Seriously though, anybody know the number to text the booth? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
I feel bad for her...she mentioned how her security wasn't there with her at the time. What a shame...if I were her security, I would be guarding her 24/7. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
Yeah basically the whole thing is a rip on Wisconsinites and Brewer fans, not the stadium. The only thing I remember was someone ranting about obese people and TGI Friday's. Big whoop...
Since 2003, they've traded: LF - Jason Bay CF - Nate McLouth RF - Xavier Nady 3B - Aramis Ramirez SS - Jack Wilson 2B - Freddy Sanchez 1B - Adam LaRoche C - Jason Kendall SP - Ian Snell RP - Mike Gonzalez Not too bad of a team if you ask me...
I just flipped to Baseball Tonight, and they're discussing the NL Central. They just said "focus on the number in the loss column, and for the purpose of this discussion, we'll leave the Brewers out". Uhh....we have 51 losses compared to Houston's 50. So all of a sudden we're done and they're not? I might be overreacting, but I'm tired of seeing the Brewers getting overlooked by the "World's Leader in Sports". Proof ESPN hates Milwaukee.
