    I was watching the Phillies game earlier and Ibanez hit his 25th HR today. I think BA has the stats as of this morning. He recapped the Phillies-Cubs game and even mentioned that Ibanez hit his 25th. I guess he just forgot.

    I was hoping Villy would have a clean outing for once...but then again, that's like asking the Blue Jays if we could send Bill Hall for Roy Halladay. And now Prince botches a routine grounder....I think I'm gonna call it a night.

    man...BA's just having a horrible game. He just said Fielder's second in the NL in HR's, behind Pujols...Ibanez has 25, Fielder has 24. Fielder is 3rd. Why didn't Lopez slide there? he looked kinda close to the plate and Ohlendorf would've had to bend all the way down to tag him out with the high throw... I really hope we get at least one out of this... EDIT: Knew I shouldn't have posted "I really hope we get at least one out of this...".

    I'm liking Lopez already....THAT is what a leadoff hitter should look like.

    Villy has trouble going 1 or 2 innings, much less 5 or 6. Anyone else hear that loudmouth Pirates fan yell "Hey Prince, is ice cream a vegetable?!" I'll admit, I'm having a bad day, but that kinda made me smile. Not because it's funny, but because hecklers are so lame.

    Gee, could've been 1-0 with no outs, 2 men on, and Prince up...oh well. Nice to see Lopez get a hit in his first AB as a Brewer. Hopefully there'll be plenty more of those.

    I was originally talking about where Fielder plays now. Sucks he only gets one at-bat, but at least it was a productive one. Interesting Manuel went with the hometown closer to pitch the 3rd inning.

    Gotta feel a bit sorry for Inge...0 dingers for the guy. Adrian Gonzalez was a disappointment...he only hit 2.

    Quite a roller coaster week for Embree...gets the easiest possible victory in baseball...then gets a season-ending injury. I don't think the Rockies will miss his 5.84 ERA that much...
