  1. I'm pretty sure it is Adelitas Way - Invincible. I had the beat of the song in my head last night but couldn't remember any of the lyrics. The invincible word helps and I just youtubed songs with the word "invincible" in them and yup, that's the song.
  2. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/4703/valhuff.jpg Aubrey Huff says "Hello, ladies!" http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/multimedia/photo_gallery/0910/mlb.world.series.look.a.likes.2/images/jayson-Werth.jpg It is even more uncanny when they both have beards.
  3. Nice approach by Go-Go with two strikes and Prrrum, the tying run scores. Nice.
  4. "Do you ask McGehee to drop down a bunt here?" No. Not with Escobar, Kottaras, and Gomez coming up. Absolutely not.
  5. Epic Beard making the slow climb back to hitting Uecker.
  6. Dear Brewers, I am a-ok with you being greedy today. I traded my tickets for this game since I went to Cerveceros day last night, but that doesn't mean you still can't appease the hawing party and all of the others braving the heat to watch you today.
  7. I missed that play, I was too busy taking pictures of Ax-man in the bullpen. That said, the beard thing is totally my friend Gallo. If I had to choose, Jayson Werth's beard was my favorite MLB beard. It was pretty warm since the roof and panels were closed, but a good game overall. Other than the uniforms and pre-game mariachi band they really didn't do too much for Cerveceros day. They did have someone dressed up as a jalapeno who had no dancing rhythm at all. Viva los Cerveceros! http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o254/gjenkins05/Pics/100_1599.jpg
  8. Cerveceros Day! Dave, go 1-0 for July 10, please? I'll be at the game tonight rooting you on.
  9. I'm glad you were able to watch a good game, hawing. Seeing Riske warming up is marginally better than seeing Suppan, but I can definitely understand the sentiment. Epic Beard indeed. Baby steps back towards a .200 batting average. lol
  10. Braun: "We haven't been playing good baseball, it starts with me, I've been terrible." Between Braun and Wolf we have two guys who pretty much tell it like it is all the time, which is kind of nice.
  11. Ryan Doumit's nickname should be the Doormat based on how many steals he has given up this year, lol.
  12. I love how Dave Bush is our all-time designated pinch runner for injured players.
  13. I'm calling my shot now, Macha pinch hits with Wolf because Edmonds' Achilles is sore and he'd really hold Edmonds back for a situation with runners on. Wolf gets a hit and Corey drives him in.
  14. The beard is making a comeback! Hooray, Epic Beard. Hooray, Pirates!
  15. First pitch Gomez swings out of his shoes, second pitch Gomez feigns a bunt. Third pitch, Gomez actually reaches on a bunt. Awesome, lol.
  16. Raise that trade value, Prince? At least we've got a swinging chance now.
  17. That would have been a new way to give up a run. Instead, it is just a new way not to get an out.
  18. Welcome back, sharpie. Be wary of the defense behind you. Throw strikes. Just win, baby.
  19. The best part about that letter is the mental image of Mo Williams trying to lead the Cavs to an NBA championship.
