  1. Hahahahahha. This helped my mood immensely. Thanks.I'm glad I could cheer you up. Now maybe Braun can cheer me up with a 3-run HR! He's amazing, but not THAT amazing.
  2. Jerry had the right idea. Don't swing until you have two strikes.
  3. This lineup has me nervous. I hope Gomez Or Yuni can come up with some timely hits tonight. Or yikes. Randy, if it was ever a time to earn that FA contract, now's it.
  4. The bi-polar Brewers Nation is going to lose it's mind the next 24 hours or so and fret about Wolf pitching tomorrow. Then Wolf will come out and pitch a gem like so many times this year. Then this hyperventilating will look silky (once again).
  5. was it the same Albert that went 4-5 today with 3 doubles? and the same STL team that had 12 hits? Here's the full quote. Priceless. http://www.whosay.com/amy...ntent/118153?code=gHdOfX "We can't do anything about it. We've been talking all year long, there is nothing we can do about it. Maybe if we were the New York Yankees maybe we would have played an 8:00 game today. It is what it is. I just don't understand when we play a 4:00 game the league knows we have tough shadows out there, but there's nothing you can do. They're making their money, their paying their money. I guess they put the game time however they want it."
  6. For everyone's enjoyment. In the postgame presser Sir Albert and Berkman complained about the shadows at Busch this afternoon. Albert said, maybe if they were the Yankees they would get a night game. Seriously.
  7. Man, a nice Corey Hart hot streak would be great for the rest of October.
  8. It was close. Gotta overcome bad calls if you're going to advance in the playoffs. YUNI! what the heck?
  9. Funny you say that. In STL fans and media killed him all year for his Johnny Wholestaff act. This is probably the first time it worked our for him. Good luck the rest of the way with that approach. I think they got pretty lucky in that game.
  10. I'm mixed on cheering for the Cards. I live in STL and while it would be great to see the Brewers play in the NLCS (knocks on wood), I don't think I could take them losing to the Cardinals. I literally might have to pack up and move my wife and kids into my parents house in Menomonee Falls.

  12. Well, he gets the chance tomorrow. http://brewersbeat.mlblog...he-closer-for-wednesday/

  15. Woot. Can't wait to see Our Lord and Savior start at 3B in person today! First Brewers game in a long-long time. I hope it's winner.
  16. Pretty nice performance from a team that doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. If you're feeling confident about this one TCU-Baylor is a pretty incredible game right now on espn.
  17. No, I think the team's CSI set up of Braun's fall today is evidence that they are in "We don't give a heck" mode.
