    Im not defending Braun here, and admittedly I dont know alot about PEDs and the mechanism of action/psychological effects,etc (thats far above my pay grade) but what if this is/was some kind of addiction to the meds he was suffering from? Addicts will go to great lengths for their addictions. Like I said, perhaps its a far fetched theory,but hypothetically plausible.

    Its even worse when driving an emergency vehicle. For some reason people see cute flashing red and blue lights on large red trucks and completely forget how to operate their vehicles. Our trucks are equipped with Opticom which trips the light giving us a green in our direction of travel. There have been several occasions where people see the light change green and will speed up to beat the light before us. It doesnt help that Drivers Ed isnt a requirement for obtaining a license here in AZ.

    I was seen on tv (Dbacks broadcast) last night, but there were far fewer Brewer fans as there have been in recent years. Im behind home plate tonight in section 119 or so.

    Im planning on going Friday and Saturday. Havent bought tickets yet but I may take advantage of the fact that the Dbacks have extended the military/police/fire 50% discount for the entire homestand and treat myself to a little nicer seats than the bleachers.

    Skaggs was just called up to PHX and is starting tonight. He is 1-1 with a 5.40 era in 3 starts with the Dbacks.
