  1. Hopefully Turnbow makes next inning less exciting.
  2. Yeah, Bill Hall can't play centerfield.
  3. Token "Bunt it at Braun and Hope He Hits Keith Olberman's Mom" play to start the inning.
  4. GameDay says Spurling. This should be fun.
  5. Yeesh...it wouldn't be Brewers baseball without a baserunning blunder, would it?
  6. Wow...how does one walk Neifi Perez?? Not the best of outings for Benny today despite the 7 K's, but hopefully the bullpen doesn't cost him another win.
  7. Ground rule double. Uh oh. Hopefully Ben's got enough left in the tank to get through this inning.
  8. Looks like Benny's still out there...struck out Monroe after falling behind 3-1.
  9. Well a wild pitch is one way to score with RISP. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  10. Holy crap! A triple for Braun! Gotta hit him in, now, Prince.
  11. Jeez...looks like Sheff fouled off about 3 pitches that were in the dirt before getting that double. Talk about a bad luck inning.
  12. Congrats on strikeout #1,000, Benny.
  13. Woogie, you do realize that every IGT must be pink until the Brewers lose again, right? You don't want to mess up good karma. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  14. Curtis Granderson scares the bejeezus out of me right now. Edit: BREWERS WIN!!
  15. I am a little angry that I dropped Hall in fantasy yesterday before the game. He hasn't gotten out since, so maybe it was for the better. I actually put him in my starting lineup at the start of the Texas series hoping the AL parks would get him going (that and my other OFers were doing even worse than Billy). Glad to see it's finally paying off this series. Edit: It wouldn't be a Turnbow outing without at least one man on base.
  16. Bill Hall has yet to get out in this series.
  17. BILLY HALL!! ALRIGHT!! He's been en fuego this series.
  18. With the way Ned is going through relievers tonight, Sheets better go 7 innings tomorrow (it's not totally his fault, though...Cappy going down kind of forced his hand). Let's just get out of this inning with minimal damage and hope that the law of averages finally kicks in and the Brewers can push a guy across to tie it again.
  19. "Emergency Start" for Villy...uh oh. Edit: Strained groin during the warmup. Doesn't sound too serious, but if it is, could Yo be coming sooner than we thought?
  20. It was always my understanding that if the DH is switched to an actual defensive position, the pitcher would then have to hit in the place of the replaced player. Here's the official rule: It's highly unlikely Damian wouldn't be able to finish the game at catcher, though, so Bill will probably be freaking out about nothing.
  21. Bill Schroeder will pitch a fit once he learns that both catchers will be in tonight's game. What if Damian gets hurt!?!
  22. Is Maroth picking his nose in that pic?
  23. Would it honestly make everyone feel better if the Brewers got one or two hits but Verlander still went the complete game? It's not much different than any other loss -- so what if it leads off SC and BBTN? I doubt much of the coverage is "HAHAHAHA THE BREWERS SUCK!" Honestly, I feel worse about losing 2 of 3 to Texas than I do about getting no-hit by the reigning rookie of the year.
  24. At least Bill Hall drew three walks tonight.
  25. Helluva game pitched by Verlander, and he had luck on his side -- the sliding catch by Ordonez and the double play to end the 8th were impressive plays. Stinks that it had to be the Brewers, but tomorrow's another game.
