    Wow....what a throw by Billy to save a run and get out of the inning. Frankly, I'm content with getting away with only 2 runs scored considering how bad that inning started.

    Doesn't help that Cappy is getting squeezed, but the Brewers seem to be shooting themselves in the collective foot early between J.J.'s eye-high strikeout, Hart's CS, and Braun's early error.

    I agree that hell will probably freeze over before Estrada is moved from the 5th spot. Didn't Bill mention a little while ago that Yost is one of the guys that believes that the Top 5 in the lineup should stay the same, no matter what? Something about consistency from those spots in the order. The only thing that's been consistent about the top 5 spots in the Brewers' order is Estrada hitting into double plays to kill rallies once Prince gets on base. It'll only be a matter of time before teams start intentionally walking Prince if there's a base open to get to Estrada.

    Sadly, I don't see much hope for getting Estrada out of the 5-hole. Assuming that Ned refuses to drop Estrada since he believes the Top 5 should be the same every day, it'll probably look something like this: RF Hart SS Hardy 3B Braun 1B Fielder C Estrada LF Jenkins CF Hall DH Gross 2B Counsell

    While it doesn't necessarily pertain to this game since Cappy is starting, but the Rangers lead baseball in HR's vs. RHP. Doesn't look good for Sheets and Bushy the next couple games. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

    Jason White was signed as a UDFA, IIRC, and he didn't make it past first cuts.

    While he did flip the bat after watching the one he hit last night, it looked to me like he put his head down and started jogging a little quicker than someone would jog around the bases for a HR usually would.

    My jubilation in seeing Prince get a hit in the 8th was sucked away when I realized that Estrada was batting fifth. Needless to say, he didn't fail to disappoint. Ironic how it seems like this team scores more runs when Estrada's not even in the lineup, let alone not batting 5th.

    At least Ned seems to be learning that it's okay to bring in Cordero when Turnbow doesn't have it. I'm actually kinda surprised at how quick CoCo warmed up.
