  1. Stopped by the Dick’s at East Towne in Madison today. 50% off postseason items and BOGO on the rest of the Brewers apparel, including a surprisingly good selection of player Ts
  2. Do we know why the traffic was so awful? Did they not have enough people working the parking lots?
  3. The 2012 team would have probably won at least the WC2 spot if the bullpen hadn’t been an absolute dumpster fire.
  4. I saw a tweet from a guy saying the Dodgers complained to the Brewers about the fan treatment of Machado and Puig after Game 6 and the Brewers responded by telling the ushers to monitor fan behavior. Has anybody else seen or heard anything about this?
  5. Not this game, but Game 2 and Game 4, yeah. I can't do the "great memories were made", "good job guys!" thing. Just can't. We are known for losing and we lost again. We should have won this series. The crowning achievement will be game 163, the rest of this will largely be forgotten. It's an '08, '11. An insignificant blip. Well said. I have no doubts that the Brewers will be a very good team for years to come. But they’re not the Indians. They play in a tough division with a big payroll team. The Brewers played their butts off to avoid the cruel whims of a one game Wild Card playoff this year (which is to be applauded), but I fear 2018 was the best chance to play themselves into a World Series and they frankly blew it.
  6. Guys, the stars aligned this year. We are going to rue this game for a long time.
  7. bottom line — story of the series is that JJ coughed up two moonshots in high leverage situation. It’s sad
  8. They're fine; just biding their time. Under the circumstances, you're not going to match the energy you get from going up 4-1 in the bottom of the first in an elimination game. That's too high of a bar. It was extremely loud before the Dodgers took the lead
  9. I made plans to go on a bar crawl tonight months ago, but I had to cancel and go to the game instead. If it’s amazing game that the Brewers win and I chose to go on a bar crawl instead, I think I would regret my decision for a very long time.
  10. Vegas has us as slight underdogs tomorrow
  11. Game 7 start time has been moved to 7:09
  12. After witnessing Counsell’s innovative bullpen management in this series ... looking back, RRR starting Marcum in Game 6 was truly managerial malpractice.
  13. The first ever regular season Bucks game at Fiserv Forum will tip at the same time as Game 6. Ticket prices for that game have plummeted, too. There are only so many sports fans in this market and that’s probably a minor contributing factor to the lower prices for Game 6. I will say ... if Game 6 were at Dodger Stadium with the Brewers leading 3-2, I think the get-in price would be lower than what we are seeing in Milwaukee. The tension at the stadium was palpable for the first two games. I think Game 6 will be a little more laid back, but the cheering and enthusiasm will be there. Can’t wait for the booooos during Machado’s first AB.
  14. I’m going too and I think they’ll be playing the game on the big screen in front of the arena. As for the game ... I’m expecting and bracing for the worst, but hoping for the best.
  15. Cain and Moustakas’s playoff experience sure paid off tonight ... a combined 0-12
  16. If we ultimately lose this series, I think the frustration of this game will soften the blow.
