  1. If the divide between the rich and poor was really that severe, why didn’t a couple of rich teams sign Kimbrel and Kuechel to dumb contracts before the beginning of the season?
  2. 10 teams have won the NBA title since the mid-80s, not 8. GS, CLE, SA, MIA, DAL, LAL, BOS, DET, CHI, HOU. Not to mention, you’re obviously going to have more fluky outcomes in a single elimination tournament, as opposed to a best of 7. By and large, the top programs in NCAAB are going to be a high seed year after year
  3. There is none, we're just overly depressed because we blew a 2-0 lead and we'll be watching the Raptors in the finals. Are there that many NBA fans on the board or just Bucks fans? Can’t say that I follow the NBA other than just passing interest in the Bucks. (This time of year is for Stanley Cup Playoff watching: a much better experience and sport.) Curious how many actually will watch the Finals without the Bucks in them. I certainly am a fan of the NBA and I’ll definitely watch the Finals.
  4. The Knicks with KD and Kyrie sounds like a second round exit to me. I’m just praying Kawhi doesn’t resign with the Raps.
  5. What’s the super team in the east to worry about? I don’t understand the concern.
  6. They’re folding like a tent and it’s a disgrace
  7. Hey, for whatever it’s worth, the 2012 Spurs (with Bud as an assistant coach) won their first two home games in the WCF and then choked away the next four to the Thunder. They then went to the Finals two years in a row and came within a minute of winning back to back titles.
  8. Not worried about the competition in the East for the next few years. Kawhi will be in LA and Toronto will regress. Boston has probably plateaued. If Kyrie walks, who is Boston trading for AD? Tatum?
  9. Looks like the Nats were sitting on the tarmac in Philly for 6+ hours with engine issues last night and eventually bused back to the team hotel. Flying to MKE early this morning. They’re going to be a tired team tonight.
  10. The last two times I’ve tried to park at the Skokie Yellow line lot for a weekday afternoon game, the lot has been completely full. You can also park at the northern end of the red line at the Howard stop. It’s much further from the highway than the Skokie park and ride, but that could be an option as well.
  11. This is very much looking like 2012, where the bullpen was a disaster. I still remember a series in July 2012 where K-Rod and Kameron Loe blew multiple-run leads in the 9th inning in all 3 games. We are certainly trending that way.
  12. I was there last night and saw maybe 6. When the Brewers scored I could see 2 other guys cheering. You see a lot more in San Diego. Also a few more in Anaheim on Monday. I was there tonight and I saw more Bucks shirts than Brewers gear
  13. Cincinnati doesn’t even sell out Bengals games. Now granted they’re terrible, but the fans in that city probably just aren’t as good as ours.
  14. Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I find the OnMilwaukee April Fools articles to be lame and unfunny
  15. Imagine waking up at dawn, driving 2.5 hours to Green Bay from Milwaukee, drinking $10 beers on a metal bench in sub-freezing conditions, watching the Packers get shut out by the Lions, sitting in traffic for an hour to get out of Green Bay and then driving back to MKE another 2.5 hours, this time in the dark. Yuck.
  16. Packers just lost a December home game to a 3-13 team with a rookie QB. Probably one of the worst Packer losses in a couple decades
  17. Now granted the weather is bad, but there are thousands and thousands of empty seats at Lambeau
  18. I have a lingering concern that the Packers rip off 5 in a row in December against that easy schedule and sneak into the playoffs at 9-6-1, saving Mac’s job.
  19. When can he leave? Summer of 2021
  20. Wow. I’ve been waiting my entire life for a Bucks team this good
