  1. Given the state of the offense, we are in the danger zone here
  2. If the Astros win tomorrow, Monday’s game moves up to 3 pm.
  3. There’s still Game 1 tickets available in the corners of the Terrace
  4. Dodgers inching forward to a spot in the Wild Card game…
  5. I think my frustration is that nobody even asks the follow up question. Guaranteed that gets asked in most other markets, regardless of whether we need to know the answer. Let me ask this.... honestly, not trolling or being a wiseacre..... Why do you want to know what he was frustrated about? He said he was drinking and frustrated about something. That's honest. He didn't say he dropped a suitcase on his hand, or some other dumb excuse. Will him being specific about it make you (or anyone) feel better about it? It's probably personal, and if he's not being specific about it, probably something we don't need to know about. I am not excusing the stupidity of wall-punching. Just saying that badgering him about it doesn't change it, or make it easier to take. What is the point? This is a valid point - i don’t really care why he was frustrated. I think I’m mostly venting about the quality and fecklessness of the sports media in Milwaukee over the years. It’s besides the larger point. but I think a reporter working in a larger, probably coastal market asks the logical follow up.
  6. I am 99% sure if some reporter asked that question he'd say "a personal/family issue", and that would be it. I don't think we need to know what's going on with these guys intimate family lives and inside their heads all the time. It sucks. It was stupid. He absolutely shouldn't have done it, but it's happened, and we, and more importantly the team are gonna have to move on. I think my frustration is that nobody even asks the follow up question. Guaranteed that gets asked in most other markets, regardless of whether we need to know the answer.
  7. Nothing close to embarrassing has been posted here. Check out Twitter for that. Williams made a foolish mistake at a really bad time for both him and for the organization.
  8. He's having the most miserable day of his life today and we're all upset about it, but he obviously regrets it and we'll eventually move on. Although it certainly will be easier if the Brewers avoid blowing late-inning leads in the postseason... He's not even the first pitcher this year to bust his pitching hand punching something. One wishes that he did it after a bad outing rather than after the celebration though. Just spitballing here, but don’t you think that if the FO wasn’t angry with Devin, they would have provided a little more cover for Devin? This is the same organization that came up with the whopper about Lucroy’s suitcase.
  9. The local media will never ask the easy, very obvious follow-up question out of fear of ruffling feathers and losing access.
  10. He deserves all the boos he’ll get before Game 1.
  11. Will our robust and intrepid local sports reporters ask Counsell why Williams is in the dugout today?
  12. Don’t think we’ll be seeing Anderson again in a Brewers uniform
  13. I’m not expecting sellouts for the NLDS games. Maybe for a Game 5.
  14. NLDS home games would be Friday and Saturday, not Saturday and Sunday
