  1. Maybe adjustment has nothing to do with it. Maybe guys simply don't see the ball well coming out of his hand. Can't see it, can't hit it.
  2. This particular venting is a nice change of pace from the venting that would be going on if the Brewers just lost 2-1. If nothing else we get (mostly) new punching bags.
  3. Seemed like it was just a matter of time. Nothing seemed right the whole night leading up to it. Even though AZ was fortunate dropping some in, it seemed like the Crew was even more fortunate that the game was as close as it was.
  4. Well, that's the most that they can control, even if they are undefeated. If that's "all" they get it, and then win it, it will still be the best season in Badger history and it would be a shame if people lose sight of that.
  5. Thought this was kind of cool. Excerpt from Mike McCarthy's post-game press conference yesterday: (Have you ever been part of an offense that has been this good for four games?) Hell, I don’t know. We had a good day today, number one. But we got to get better. I’m not really in the mood to reminisce. It’s been a great weekend for Wisconsin sports. We’re happy that we held up our end of the deal. Hopefully the Brewers can finish this thing off. It’s still tied when I came in here. 9-4 Who’s winning? Brewers. There you go. See. We’re having a good weekend here in Wisconsin. We’re glad to do our part.
  6. Best argument yet for making sure this thing doesn't get to Game 5.
  7. Cards are easily the most unlikable team in a post-season that includes the Yankees. Congratulations on your accomplishment.
  8. Yep. If Crew wins this thing out in AZ, and Philly wins, Brewers won't be home again until October 12.
  9. I'd go with K-Rod. Hasn't pitched yet and this thing isn't a sure thing yet. Edit: If the lead stay same or spreads for Crew, I think about holding back on Ax. Not necessarily for rest, but to limit the ABs guys get to see him.
  10. That was a tough inning. Not pretty, but Hawk gutted it out against some good ABs.
  11. Hawk in the 7th? I think it's the right call but this creates options.
  12. I'm not sure the 3-days rest is the most significant factor here. This is the same Greinke we saw early in the year.
  13. Is this a certainty? I haven't seen it reported anywhere yet. Edit: OK, found the report on the JS website. ======= Make it a 4-0 weekend for Wisconsin, Crew.
  14. Cards jump out early.
  15. I'd like to complain about something, but can't think of anything.
  16. The implication being that the Brewers score 4 here so as to see Estrada. But I'll settle for Axford.
  17. Just so strong, and it rode right into a spot where Prince could turn it quick.
  18. I thought that whole line of commentary was way overblown. Milwaukee is barely in the national eye, so their "personality" gets exaggerated and stuff from years ago gets applied to this year's team somehow.
  19. I'd keep going with Yo also, but thought it would be fun to ask.
