  1. Commercial breaks last longer than that half inning. 5 friggin' pitches.
  2. If you had the first two hits of the season belonging to Orlando Arcia you're a lying liar.
  3. The ESPN broadcast is hilarious. They have Jesse Rogers on and his mask is too big so it keeps falling below his nose and mouth and he keeps pushing it back up only to have it fall back down 5 seconds later.
  4. This crowd noise is dumb.
  5. Yelich drops an f-bomb after Woodruff strikes him out.
  6. Doesn't this pretty much defeat the entire purpose of closing schools? Granted it's not as many kids together but 8 kids and at least one adult in a house kind of seems like a breeding ground. There are safety measures that can be used in schools and that we're currently using but it's probably a lot more difficult with like 1,000 or 2,000 students than it is with the 100 we currently have. All that needs to be figured out and I'm not sure there's going to be enough time to. Like for older kids, middle school and high school. Would it be possible to have teachers move from class to class instead of students crowding the hallways? Can schools be separated into wings so you can minimize contact between classes? There are a ton of other things to consider but obviously it starts with temperature checks at the door and hand sanitizer upon entry.
  7. Global warming means the Central is now the East Coast.
  8. So 7 road games against the Cubs to 3 home games? I know there aren't any fans but Jesus.
  9. The team is putting up a cardboard cutout of you in the locker room to prove you wrong. 100 losses in 60 games? Don't tell us we can't.
  10. Brewers Classics keeps airing All-Star games. I don't even want to watch those when they're live. Why would I want to watch a replay of one from 40 years ago?
  11. Interesting choice of words given his history.
  12. My dad took my younger brother to the Sheets 18 K game for his birthday even though neither of them like baseball. He would not let my older brother and me go even though we like baseball. That is my lasting memory of Sheets' 18 K game.
  13. I think the Dillon pick says a lot more of what they think about Jamaal Williams than it does about Aaron Jones' contract status.
  14. Believe it was set to expire after this season. Would guess they won't see much of a bump coming off an at best pandemic shortened season or at worst no season at all, but it will definitely be an interesting situation to keep an eye on. TV ratings will bump it up quite a bit. If they don't get to at least $40 million per year on average, I'll be shocked.
  15. Figures. Offense just disappears after the first couple of innings!
  16. The virus can live in the air for 30 minutes to 3 hours. All it takes is one player to get it, they cough or sneeze or whatever and then another player breathes in that air and then they're all in the locker room together or lifting weights and all of a sudden the season is cancelled again.

  18. I never liked the NL Central with 6 teams.
  19. Love it. It's on really late which isn't great but I don't have to work so I can stay up and watch if I want to.
  20. We got a staff email that we shutting down next week and the week after that was our spring break so we planned on being down a minimum of two weeks but they said possibly up to four and they would re-evaluate after that. Now we know we’re done until the 6th which I fully endorse and was saying we should do yesterday.
  21. Turang was the only Brewer on Keith Law’s list coming in at #81.
  22. Gyorko is an awful defender at short, I have no idea who Rodriguez and Mathias are so it can be safely assumed that Arcia is the starter.
  23. Which is understandable. I don't think it's possible to be a player agent and a passive wallflower.
