  1. Not to mention Zimmermann would really have to want to play for the Brewers because there's not a chance we're going to be offering him the biggest contract.
  2. Two in the zone. Swung at at least one of them in the zone, can't recall if he swung at both. Third pitch was just off the outside corner. Honestly could've gone either way according to that Fox Trax thing. Last pitch was a 100 mph fastball down the middle but up around his shoulders. Swung right through it. No chance to make contact on it.
  3. Can't blame a guy for wanting to fit in. Would laugh so hard if Nelson went all Jack Parkman in the post game when asked about his outing tonight. "Peer pressure is a real thing and when you're a rookie and the rest of your team sucks, you feel the need to want to fit in with them as best as possible."
  4. First I was like http://politicalillusionsexposed.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Huh.jpg Then I was like http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/150426000253-barack-obama-whcd-exlarge-169.jpg
  5. This sounds like something Attanasio would say.
  6. You know, Ron. Just because your #3 hitter is out doesn't mean you have to put his replacement #3 in the lineup too.
  7. I agree with this and I would also never put a reliever, much less three in an untouchable core.
  8. The Brewers will definitely be on the alternate channel because of the Bucks playoff game.
  9. We might actually win two in a row. By far our best pitcher to start the season vs by far their worst pitcher. I still can't believe Marquis is on a major league roster and that it's not butter.
  10. I don't understand how CB Bucknor still has a job. Missed strike calls, throwing the same pitches where one is a strike and one is a ball. The guy is awful.
  11. Schafer has more power on check swings than Braun has on full swings.
  12. Matt Adams on Phantom Cam. http://38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lny2c8LfXU1qz7olro1_500.gif
  13. I feel terrible for the people that paid for a ticket today. Cardinals 3B Matt Carpenter RF Jason Heyward SS Jhonny Peralta 1B Matt Adams LF Mark Reynolds 2B Kolten Wong CF Peter Bourjos C Tony Cruz P Lance Lynn Brewers SS Jean Segura CF Logan Schafer RF Gerardo Parra 1B Adam Lind LF Khris Davis 2B Elian Herrera 3B Hector Gomez C Juan Centeno P Mike Fiers
  14. Yes. It's really annoying I asked FS Wisconsin on twitter what the point of having those scores there was if they weren't going to bother updated them. They didn't respond.
  15. Somebody has to do it. Last year it was Segura. This year it's Braun apparently.
  16. If we're trading Garza I'd rather get as many prospects as we could. Holt does absolutely nothing for this team other than add to the glut of mediocre infielders.
  17. Maybe I missed it but I don't recall Bryant saying anything wrong. Just that he was disappointed and couldn't wait to get to the majors. Obvious and nothing wrong with saying that. Boras is the one who made it into a thing.
  18. One of these days the Brewers are going to make all 27 outs on the bases.
  19. Holy crap these umpires are horrible. Could you imagine if there was still no replay?
  20. Go to the optimism thread instead of telling people what they should post about. Sheesh...well excuuuuuuuse me. I was only trying to emulate our brilliant owner after hearing him pump us full of optimism 24 hours ago. Apologies. My apologies. I thought you were being serious.
  21. And a promising inning ended by stupid baserunning.
