    Why do they have to decide now if they're World Series contenders. Wait mid season and if the Brewers stink, flip him for prospects. Lackey had a 3.6 ERA before he was traded, and Yo finished with a 3.5 ERA - I'm sure someone would want him. You get much less if you wait. Off season and the team trading for him can get a draft pick. Not the case once the season starts.

    Putting it by Miller Park does nothing. Games are in the winter so you can't even tailgate, which is pretty much the only reason why Miller Park works where it is.

    If this is the player he is from now on, how is it anything but a bad contract? Sure it won't be the worst in the league but who would've been happy with the Braun extension if he was posting a sub .800 OPS before the new deal even kicked in?

    First completely search your garage to make sure there are no holes where mice can get in. If you see the snake you can sweep it out with a broom if you don't want to touch it or if you're not afraid to touch it, try to catch it and put it in a bucket. Cover the bucket and take it someplace away from houses so it doesn't wander into any other garages. But it wouldn't be a big deal if you just leave it there either as long as you're sure it's just a garter snake.

    Nah, doesn't seem like it. You actually have to get runners on base to hit into double plays.

    NHL is. They end around the same time as the NBA but they started their preseason games already and start the regular season about 3 weeks earlier.
