    If the Big Ten only stays at 6 teams it will be a pretty bad decision but if they can get say Nebraska and Iowa to join it looks better.

    The new WCHA will be Alaska-Anchorage, Alaska-Fairbanks, Bemidji State, Bowling Green, Ferris State, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Minnesota State and Northern Michigan.

    Garland couldn't strike out a little leaguer and Jacobs hasn't had an OBP over .300 since 2007.

    That match was ridiculous. I only caught the second half when the snow was really falling. Basically you couldn't see the ball, I'm amazed the camera guy did as well as he did because the lens was covered in snow, it was a near white out, just ridiculous. They stopped the game at about 10 minutes into the second half and on the sidelines they said they planned on stopping the game but the players (even the Costa Ricans) talked them into continuing. No team could possess the ball for more than 30 seconds, nobody could see what was going on. Luckily the assistant referee caught the offside that nullified Costa Rica's goal. TLB, if you turn on SportsCenter at some point they show highlights of the game.

    Interesting how MLB had no problem taking in record revenues in the 90's while they looked the other way about steroids. Then the feds got involved and MLB was forced to do something about it.

    Come on, he's a soon to be 30 year old career minor leaguer who couldn't even crack a .700 OPS in the PCL last year. There is nothing to be excited about with Blake Lalli.

    The game today against the Dodgers will air tomorrow on MLB Network at 9 AM Central, the game tomorrow against the Indians will air live on MLB Network and the game on Tuesday against the Angels will air live on FS Wisconsin.

    So glad they continue to keep him in the outfield instead of trying him at 1st for an extended period of time. I know I'm not the only one who's excited about Alex Gonzalez being the starting 1st baseman! /blue

    Oh he played 1st base in instructionals for the first time and didn't look good? Well that obviously means he can never play it and will never get better. Meanwhile Alex Gonzalez is going to be our starting 1st baseman for a month. They should be playing Davis as much as possible at 1st in spring training.

    Happened 4 times in their first 4 home games last year. Didn't look any further than that. Pretty sure the Brewers played there a couple years ago with the roof open during the day too.
