    Second rain delay for Nashville. This time it ends the game in the top of the 9th. Cain goes 3-5 with two triples and a walk. Gamel goes 2-5.

    If money is a huge concern to the Diamondbacks, I would expect them to non-tender Saunders in the offseason rather than pay him the $6-7 million he isn't worth in the first place.

    Justin Smoak was just traded. He came in at 13 on BA's top 100 list this season. Kyle Drabek, Brett Wallace and Michael Taylor were all moved within the last year as parts of the Halladay trade. Aaron Poreda who was 63 on BA's top 100 last year was traded in the Jake Peavy deal. Justin Masterson was 64 on BA's top 100 in 2008 and was moved in the Victor Martinez trade. I believe Nick Hagadone is back in the top 100 as well and he was part of that trade. Josh Bell is 37 on BA's top 100 and he was traded for George Sherrill. Going back to 2008 Matt LaPorta was traded for Sabathia and Carlos Santana was traded for Casey Blake.

    I wonder how many times a player has tripled twice in one inning? I know it's happened at least once since Cain just did it.

    I just use TSN. It's basically the Canadian version of ESPN and they're all over hockey at the trade deadline.

    Even with the top prospect, I think this is a horrible deal for Arizona.

    I'm a fan of the Predators (because of the Admirals) and the Wild (even though they suck http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif ) because I get a ton of Wild games on TV and I hate all things Chicago. The Predators are named after the 9 inch fang and a foreleg bone of a saber-toothed tiger that was found in 1971 in downtown Nashville while the First American Center was under construction. Just root for whatever team you want, as long as it's not Chicago. They don't need anymore bandwagon fans. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif As far as the Penguins being hard to follow. With Crosby and Malkin there's no shortage of games on Versus or NBC. Edit: Just looked and the Penguins had 13 games between Versus and NBC last year. Edit: I should add I also like following Buffalo. Small market but they have some great fans and I just kind of like them, don't really know why. I'm also not a huge fan of the team in general, but easily the best fans and best atmosphere for a game is Montreal at Bell Centre. Their fans are insane all the time, it's great to watch. I watch every game of theirs I can because of that reason.

    If he was caught up in drugs, don't you think MILB would've suspended him? Also, if that was true, don't you think they would keep him anyways and help him with treatment like they did with Jeffress? Just looking like an incredibly stupid decision by the Brewers.

    X-Rays were negative and MRI is coming tomorrow, but he smashed his hand/wrist into the concrete pretty good.

    Gamel is a triple away from the cycle and is guaranteed at least one more at bat and Isotopes Park is a great place for triples.

    Also of note. The outfield market got thinner today as David DeJesus suffered a complete ligament tear in his right thumb and is out for the season.

    I would toss in more value if it meant we could get Delgado and Beachy. I hope Melvin explores this.

    From one of my earlier posts on Delgado. Beachy is pretty much the same though his curveball is better than his changeup.
