If they want to say he didn't establish himself in his first try, fine. I don't agree with it, but whatever. But how is he supposed to establish himself a second time when he gets 15 at bats in 25 games and how is he supposed to establish himself in spring training when he has a tear in his shoulder? -

I remember when Braddock first came up he was throwing 94-96. He's been 90-92 for a while now. He's also been throwing his fastball much more. He was throwing it around 60% of the time in May and June, it went up to 70% in July and it's now 80% in August. There has to be something wrong.

I feel bad for Sheets. Not only did they need to repair his flexor and pronator tendons, he also needed Tommy John surgery. I can't imagine he would even bother trying to rehab from something like that. It seems almost pointless.
