  1. Is anybody really a Dillard fan as a starter?
  2. No. It's just a weak excuse by the players. They didn't have any problems hitting during the day last year. Now that they suck during the day this year they're looking for any excuse to try and explain it.
  3. How do you know he's going to be better? He hasn't even pitched this season. And that also completely disregards that he's a free agent after the year, there's no guarantee he returns and then you have a Halladay/Gallardo/Bush/Suppan/Looper rotation and Cameron is a free agent, so you probably don't have enough money to bring him back and you have no replacement waiting in the wings.
  4. I'd take a compensation pick or Cameron back for another year over an average minor league pitching prospect.
  5. Her hair. That's about it.
  6. Yes I did. I was also looking at a Bucks message board while I was posting this and the fact that they've been bad for so long and you can see how I made that mistake. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. That's good news. The minor league teams in Milwaukee provide great entertainment value (Wave, Bucks, etc.)
  8. Wallace was their #2 prospect coming into this year according to BA behind only Colby Rasmus. Mortensen is #6. Peterson wasn't ranked in the top 10.
  9. It barely saves them any money this year and only saves them $2.1 million next year when you take into account his buyout. Unless the prospect is Gamel, Escobar or Lawrie, they wouldn't be interested at all.
  10. Not sure what the exact average is, but there are 166 players qualified with enough at bats to have this stat count and Braun is tied for 31st. The highest is 67.5% held by Marlon Byrd and Jeff Francoeur and the lowest is Chipper Jones at 47.1% and then Albert Pujols at 47.4%.
  11. Not sure how that's relevant since Halladay wouldn't be taking Suppan's spot in the rotation.
  12. They've also given up the most.
  13. A little over dramatic, don't you think? When was the last time each team used each of their challenges in the same game? I can't remember, probably because it rarely, if ever happens.
  14. Well, the Pirates have traded Adam LaRoche to the Red Sox. One bat out of their lineup.
  15. It's actually from Witrado. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Don't like Hall batting in front of Hardy at all.
  16. I just don't see how a guy who has been injured all year, who doesn't have a great strikeout rate and doesn't get a ton of groundballs while also throwing about 87 on a good day is a good bet for us.
  17. That's going to cost way more than Halladay. I think Gamel, Escobar and Lawrie would all be in the trade as well as a couple of our high ceiling pitchers lower in the minors.
