  1. So basically just have the producer cut his mic completely? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  2. That WSSP interview was awesome. I love Trenni.
  3. To be clear, I don't know that for sure, but with the problems with walks so far this year and the iffy "production" by Julio throughout his career and the numbers (albeit a small sample) this year. It just leads to what should be a hopefully obvious conclusion that DiFelice is a near lock to remain and Julio is sent packing.
  4. Yeah, I really don't know what the Brewers were thinking when they hired him, but he's not good.
  5. Would you believe he actually played college baseball?
  6. Aargh, the only thing I hate about U-Verse is I don't get channel 32. FS Wisconsin should really try to get a few games next year.
  7. Would there even be room for him? McClung, Villanueva, Stetter, Coffey and DiFelice are probably locks to remain on the team. Hoffman is coming off the DL soon, so Julio will probably be gone when that happens. So the only other option is replacing Swindle with Vizcaino which is a meh move for me. And JohnBriggs is right. Vizcaino's fastball is averaging only 88 mph this year and his slider only 80 mph.
  8. German is useless unless you plan on opening a German Beer Hall. If you do plan on opening a German Beer Hall, keep your German dictionary. Note to self: Scratch plans on opening German Beer Hall. You end up selling your German dictionary for $2 at a rummage sale.
  9. The recap on milb.com said it was a triple. Either way, good for the T-Rats to finally get a win. It would've been a shame for Watten to lose the game after pitching fairly well. Scarpetta was just awesome. He and Nieves are my two favorite pitching prospects.
  10. Yeah, I find it rather odd that he waits until his stats don't look bad and then decides to say something.
  11. Dang, 10 AM game time? Anybody know why it's so early?
  12. The Santorelli/Jones/Ortmeyer line was awesome last night. Just completely dominated Rockford.
  13. Yep, Admirals games are the best value for your entertainment dollar in Milwaukee. You can have a good time at the Brewers game at a low cost, but you end up in the nosebleeds with the cheap tickets. For $10, you can go to a playoff game and sit a few rows off the ice. For $18, you can do the same in the regular season. That's another nice thing, playoff tickets are cheaper than regular season tickets. MacIntyre was a stud in net and the Jones/Santorelli/Ortmeyer line was awesome last night. Both games in Rockford had a strong showing of Admirals fans.
  14. If I wasn't laughing at how awful our pitching was, I'd be curled up in the fetal sucking on my thumb and crying.
  15. After Braun hit that homer, Julio should've been sat and been replaced by a better reliever. We're back in the game at that point. Instead, Julio gives it right back and possibly more. If there's any silver lining in this, it should be a fairly easy decision on who to get rid of when Hoffman returns.
  16. Yeah, and it's not like they're 23 years old and have three years of experience either. One is going to be 30 in late December, two others are going to be 27 in August and September respectively and Fielder's going to be 25 in a few weeks.
  17. If I would've known the game was going to be this bad, I would've gone to Major Goolsbys to watch the Admirals.
  18. My guess is because he's afraid they're going to hit them, so instead he tries to get them to chase. The problem is they don't swing at the stuff out of the zone early in the count so he has to go in the zone in hitters counts and ends up getting crushed.
  19. And Ibanez was -23.3. My main point was Ibanez and Burrell are both bad defenders, so Bill saying Ibanez is a big upgrade over Burrell is ridiculous. Though I've come to expect that from his commentary.
  20. According to Bill, Ibanez is an upgrade over Burrell in LF defensively. UZR/150 Burrell: -7.1 Ibanez: -10.4 He's just an awful announcer.
  21. 10 year old girls should not be allowed into sporting events if their main goal at said event is to scream and jump around like idiots until they get on the jumbotron.
