He struck out Church, got Reyes to hit a ground ball and Murphy hit a bloop single. Stetter pitched fine.

Absolutely huge double play by Coffey!
  3. trwi7
And gives up a run to the next batter. Yay.

Brian has just been awful announcing this year. Every fly ball is "deep" even if it ends up about 250 feet from home plate.
  5. trwi7
Yeah, he's seen a slight power increase at the expense of his OBP. Not a good sign.
  6. trwi7
Oops, didn't see that. Feel free to lock this one then.
  7. trwi7
Yeah, 3,000 was one of their smallest crowds of the year. Very disappointing.

So, "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING!" isn't condescending?

The Rangers took a 2-0 lead against Washington today. Very surprising. Vancouver and Pittsburgh also with 2-0 leads. Canes and Devils tied at 1. Blackhawks, Bruins, Ducks and Red Wings all lead 1-0. So, who's in the Stanley Cup Finals and who's the champion? I'm going against the "experts" and saying Vancouver vs Carolina with Carolina winning it all. Milwaukee plays at the Bradley Center tonight against Rockford. Milwaukee leads the series 1-0.

There's the Brewers I know and hate.

Bradley suspending two games according to ESPNEWS. He will appeal.
  12. trwi7
That was such a ridiculous call by the home plate umpire. Thank God the third base umpire got it right.

There's a bunch of big buds on the big maple tree in my front yard. It will be glorious when all of those fall down into the driveway.

How does one get the distinguished honor of being called a "fantasy writer." Also, why do people want advice on how to run their fantasy teams? I've never been in a fantasy league, but it seems to me the point is to run a team on your own like you were the GM and then you go and seek advice from "experts?" Just one of my pet peeves. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

They're going to keep flipping. Scarpetta started the first time with Nieves coming out of the bullpen, now Nieves started with Scarpetta coming out of the pen and next time Scarpetta will start with Nieves coming out of the pen. Just how they keep their innings managed.

His production is almost all against lefties again. He's hitting .167/.333/.250 vs righties with 6 strikeouts in 12 at bats. I completely agree with southpaw. Hall is looking to pull every pitch and looks lost against righties.

BrewCrewBall: How bad is Jeff Suppan? Certainly an interesting read.
  18. trwi7
So? Almost all of that is against lefties. He's 2-12 with 6 K's against righties. Nothing has changed.
  19. trwi7
Escobar with a double and Gamel hits a homer off Derek Holland, one of the top prospects in baseball. Awesome.
  20. trwi7
An elbow issue that allows him to hit, but not throw. So he's down in BC where he can DH.
  21. trwi7
Provus didn't call that. He only calls the 3rd, 4th and 7th innings.
  22. trwi7
I'm glad they didn't do more damage, but the Brewers should still be winning.
  23. trwi7
Just an absolutely atrocious call costs us a run. Thanks ump.
  24. trwi7
    Zambrano coming back out. Wow.
  25. trwi7
Great job by Dave! Lineout by Lee, Ground out by Bradley, runner out at home and fly out by Ramirez! Let's get some runs!
