  1. Contreras since his 4 hit game on May 1st. .256/.317/.375
  2. He's not even a great bunter considering how much he does it.
  3. I do not get it. They didn't touch his fastball, here's a few cutters for some reason and now we're down 2-0 because of it.
  4. You want conspiracy theories, I'm still not convinced Ohtani is innocent and that his translator just took the fall for him to save MLB from a scandal that would take years to come back from.
  5. Major League 3: Back to the Minors Major League 4: Back to the Negotiating Table
  6. They shouldn't respond. They are huge underdogs at this point and spending any meaningful prospect capital to respond to the Dodgers getting Skubal is stupid. No move or series or moves they make would make them favorites to come out of the NL.
  7. Dude has to spend hours deciding whether to hit Yelich leadoff or cleanup. He doesn't have time to know any other players.
  8. River Ryan is 28 years old but some places have him as a top 100 prospect. It's hard to have a comparable just based on that. Would a 28 year old pitcher in any other organization be considered a top 100 prospect?
  9. Not a baseball story but my brother was in 8th grade basketball and I was in 7th grade. Our games would typically be played back to back. My team played first and then his would play after. So I'm in the stands watching his game and the coach's son is on his team. So one of the guys passes his son the ball on the wing, maybe 5 feet in front of the 3 point line, nobody is guarding him because the other team knows he sucks. What does the kid do? He shuffles his feet, no joke, maybe 20 times to get behind the 3 point line to shoot. The ref blows the whistle, takes the whistle out of his mouth and audibly laughs at how ridiculous the whole sequence was. I later got a technical from the same ref because my brother took a charge and he called a block and I called him out on his ******** call.
  10. I'm getting a custom Yelich 43 jersey. Only the real ones will understand it.
  11. You think at some point Levering will just record two tracks "Yelich strikes out" and "Yelich with a grounder to 2nd." and then he can just go for a little walk to stretch his legs or get a hot dog or something? It's not like he needs to call the at bat, since he knows one of those two things is going to happen.
  12. Offense shut down by Brent Suter, Brett Kerry and Samy Natera Jr. Only one of these guys is a member of the Rat Pack.
  13. What a lineup. For the Jefferson County Fair.
  14. Just do your strikeout or ground out and let us keep our challenges.
  15. 3rd base Joey Ortiz vs bases loaded Joey Ortiz. What a matchup.
  16. The top 5 bands of all time are in no particular order are The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Creedence Clearwater Revival. There will be no more discussion on this matter as disagreement with the list is wrong and may lead to a virtual ***** slapping.
  17. Ortiz could have and should have gotten to that ball before Chourio. He just gave up on it.
  18. The launch angle in this gif would suggest a pop up to 1st base.
  19. One could say I did. (I don't know why it double posted.)
  20. That was Mitchell's softest hit ball of the night at 109.1 mph.
