  1. Anybody who missed Brewers Squeeze Play last night and wants to watch it, it will be on at 2 this afternoon.
  2. They just drafted Rickie's little brother in the first round. I seriously doubt they're trading for Weeks. Beane would love Rickie if he could hit around .250. That would put his OBP in the .350-.360 range.
  3. Can somebody tell Bill and Brian that CC doesn't throw an 83 mph cutter? That's his slider.
  4. I would easily take Brand because he is a much better player than Bogut.
  5. Over 614 games Brand has averaged 20.3 points (50.5% FG, 73.8% FT), 10.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.1 blocks. Let me know when Bogut averages those numbers in one year.
  6. Get out of my mind Little River Band! The other guy won't be around to talk to our kids He won't understand when you're down the way that I did We had it all, you and I, we just need to try again
  7. Bogut could have easily gotten a contract like Brand did when he would hit free agency and I believe he would get more years and more money than Brand did. Any GM who would've given Bogut Brand type money in free agency is an idiot. Brand is a career 20/10 player. Bogut just came off a 14.3/9.8 year and people are slobbering all over him. Bogut is not close to Brand as a player and never will be. the bucks didn't have the salary space to make that trade happen. Exactly. The Nuggets wanted to save money so they went to a team with cap space and said Camby is yours if you want him. We need to avoid the luxury tax.
  8. I think the numbers of right handed pitchers vs left handed pitchers would be pretty interesting. Most of us expected this lineup to feast off left handed pitchers with all of our right handed hitters. It's the right handed pitchers that many were concerned about.
  9. It actually shows it's on ESPN2 on my guide. Don't know if that's true but that's what channel it's listed on.
  10. Way to go Cameron. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess Cameron's option won't be picked up for next year. Edit: I should add for how much Bill and Brian say Jason Kendall is "fundamentally sound" he sure is a stupid hitter. Cameron draws a walk in the 9th against Cordero so what does Kendall do? Hit a popup on the first pitch. That's just one of my biggest pet peeves.
  11. Got this from another board. Hopefull "Handy Manny" can come through. http://blondemomblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/handy-manny.jpg
  12. It's pretty depressing to see Fogg's 1-2 record and know he got his one win on the season against the Brewers at home.
  13. Under Under Under Under Push
  14. http://llamabutchers.mu.nu/archives/bush%20hitler%20bronson%20aroyo.jpeg Reunited in the NL Central and it feels so good! http://www.faniq.com/images/blog/Picture%201(87).png
  15. Really doubt Rivera nets you a bullpen arm. Actually he probably would, it would just be a bullpen arm like Mota.
  16. WHEEEEEE J.J.!!!! I'm a little confused, is J.J. still using periods or does he want to go by JJ just like CC? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  17. Encarnacion had a tailor made double play ball hit right to him and he threw it into right field. Now he turns one but it cost the Reds two runs. You know that will come back to haunt them.
  18. Hey it's the Dave Bush we were all predicting. Man it would be huge if he could keep this up.
  19. Griffey with a 3-run shot just after this post was made. The collective groan from those at Wrigley when ball hit bat was priceless.
  20. Benny Sheets pitched a great game tonight. His stuff was tremendous blah blah blah. His stuff is getting crisper and crisper. We struggled to score runs tonight. Rusch threw a good game, if you look at the matchup going in you think you know...Rusch pitched a great game he actually outpitched Benny a little bit. Asked about the Rockies working the count. They're a good hitting team, very, very good plate discipline. Mota's struggling right now. There's no way around it. He's struggling a little bit. Riske, Gagne and Villanueva are throwing the ball well and we'll just cover for him until he gets straightened out. Asked if any of those guys were available. Oh they were all available. THEN USE THEM!
  21. If he's still tipping pitches, why hasn't it been fixed? If he's not tipping pitches, why hasn't he been cut? It's really as simple as that.
  22. This is from another board. Said they never cut to commercial on MLB.tv with the microphones still on.
  23. Doesn't really matter if we keep losing at home to teams like the Rockies.
  24. This is from Haudricourt's in game blog.
