    I don't think anybody disagrees that Bell is worth about $3.5 million. The point of this thread though is how Bell whined to the media about the Bucks and how they "mistreated" him and how he "couldn't give it his all" if he played with them while he is still technically their property.

    Right my point exactly. Why would you pay that much for a guy who is going to get about 30% of available minutes at his position?

    I don't think you know the whole story here. He got a 3 year $9 million offer from the Bucks. He wanted more but couldn't find a team to offer him more so he whined how he was being mistreated and how he wouldn't play hard for the Bucks anymore even though they did and still do own his rights and can match the Heat's offer if they so desire. He was treating himself like he was an unrestricted free agent when in fact he was a restricted free agent. That rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

    You don't give bench players 5 year $18 million contracts. Now just this once I'd probably match the offer because of Bell whining and saying he doesn't want to play for the Bucks and how his heart wouldn't be 100% in it and blah, blah, blah. But you can usually find similar production for the minimum.

    The only thing that really annoys me about Brian is how he always says "Hot one on the ground to wherever 3rd, SS, 2nd doesn't matter" even if it's not hit hard at all. Other than that I don't have a problem with him.

    Maybe I'm just being picky but this is from the JSonline blog written by Tom Haudricourt. Okay no argument from me here. Yeah I agree with this too. Ah yes it wouldn't be Tom if he wasn't talking about Capuano losing his last 16 starts. So did Dave Bush disappear from the face of the earth?

    You're just ignorant. It's up to the players to execute no matter what the situation is. Jenkins should have found a way to hit that ball in the dirt (off a LHP) to prevent that weird hit-and-run from failing miserably. And it's just blind luck that Cordero got out of that inning with a strikeout, while somebody like Aquino throws wild pitches and gives up triples. Stop holding Yost accountable for the things that have happened to this team. It's just not fair! I've always wanted to use this.     Yeah that's what I thought. I know I could never do that mainly because I toss and turn, fall out of bed (not really but you get the idea) when I'm sleeping so I'd always be worried of yanking one of the wires off and messing up the whole sleep study.

    I've never been in one of those sleep studies but I've always wondered. Isn't it annoying to try to sleep with all those wires and that tape?
