I love the wagner signing at that price. I have no opinion on Kirksey. But again it seems like he was gotten for a bargain because of an injury history. -
honestly, I don't care when they start it up. I am more concerned about the hoarding that is not allowing people buy basic groceries. the fact that every school is closing which is not allowing kids to have a decent lunch. Parents that can't go to work because the schools are closed for a month. I know this is a baseball board, but sports seems trivial to me at this point.

The ACC has suspended all athletic activities. I would suspect the NCAA tournament will be cancelled by this evening.

the cancellations are growing at a stunning pace. I won't be surprised if the first few weeks of the season aren't played in empty stadiums, something I didn't think was possible just last week.

the path is that the brewers decide he is a better short term 1st baseman than Smoak and Smoak doesn't make the team. I agree, doesn't see him making the team as the final roster spot. I said numerous times, there is a group of 14 that I thought 13 of them would comprise the opening day lineup. If Urias starts on the DL, you have Cain, Hiura, Holt, Omar, Nerd, Pina, Smoak, Braun, Arcia, Gamel, Yeli, Jedd, and Garcia. -
probably had to give him that to get the deal done. Yes, probably at the end of the deal his production will not equal his salary, but its the price of doing business. If the brewers didn't give it to him, someone else would have in 2 years. If you want a superstar, you have to do that.

Braun is way overpaid at the end of his deal and it isn't crippling the franchise. I don't think its an issue. You can have one or maybe even 2 in Milwaukee and stay competitive. This is what you needed to do to keep him. You can expect to field a good team with arbitration eligible players and 1 year contract guys.

He's under team control for 4 seasons. Can't we just enjoy him rather than worrying about what we will do with him in 2 seasons. I know there was rumors of moving him this offseason, but pretty sure ownership is all in the next few seasons by signing Yeli. Would be dumb to dump the best closer in the NL the last 2 seasons. Not if we could get a haul for him. Our minor league system is the WORST baseball. Our market size does not continue to compete with that kind of a business model. The drafter better pick it up or its time to move on or a strategy switch. our goal is to win a championship NOT have a top minor league system. can we just see what happens. Hader can be traded in 2 seasons with 2 years of control if we have to. -

I haven't gotten into specific players, but I would love the packers to get a WR and OT early in the draft. Probably need some help at ILB. I would hope that after years of going defense early, the packers give ARod some help during the twilight of his career.

I agree that 2 patches is too much. I hope the brewers leave the uniforms as they are for years to come. I think 4 is more than enough, but this team loves have uniform choices (and for sale in the team store)

The advice is, basically, Hulu Live TV or AT&T TV NOW ... until those services ultimately drop it as well. The speculation is that Hulu Live TV might be safe for now, as it is a Disney-owned company, and Sinclair literally just bought the Fox RSNs from Disney 6 months ago. its probably the way to go, I went with youtube tv because hulu tv doesn't stream through my PS4. I think by just buying a roku stick and switching is what I am going to do.

me too, I had youtube tv for a while and loved it. switching to hulu tv, hopefully they don't run into rights issues this summer.

It seems like there is not many advantages to leaving Milwaukee than staying. It seems like he can get any endorsement he wants and has a legit change at a championship here. I agree its probably 50/50 that he stays. There is going to be incredible recruiting of him by every superstar in the league, which is what concerns me.

Fox sports Wisconsin doesn't work on my fox sports go app anymore. I have U-verse. Once I login, it's gone. I still have FS1 etc. This is why I was asking about cord cutting, i watch alot of sports on my mobile so not having that ability, makes it no longer sensible to have cable TV.

Yes they have, and in general the ones they have drafted high have worked and the ones they have drafted mid to low usually don't. Favre and Rodgers both excelled in their careers with not the greatest WR corps in the world. I just wish they would invest in a decent TE and WR for Aaron before his window is completely shut.
