I want an OT and WR in the first 2 rounds of the draft. Just think if the packers got Brown, Mclaurin, or Metcalf in the draft last year how different their offense would have been. I think part of the issue is that the packers have invested so heavily in their defense the last few drafts and last free agency, their offense hasn't really improved. I really hope the packers focus there this draft and free agency. -

Marvin Williams and Charlotte are working on a buyout and he plans to sign with the bucks. I ask why? I don’t see how he fits in the rotation. He doesn’t have extensive playoff experience. He’s 33. This is a guy if they cut bender to sign I won’t be happy.

May I ask, what to do the bucks need. They are basically ranked at the top of every important category stat wise. They have the best record in the NBA. I would not really want to upset team chemistry. I suggested adding a vet, but one that would really not play, just like Gasol last year.

thats right, i forgot about that Brodgon trade. I believe he signed a 2 year deal, but its fully non-guaranteed

I agree with your point and its not lost on me that the bucks won't have a draft pick this season. I just don't see how he gets playing time this year or next. If they want to keep him around to bounce back from milwaukee to oshkosh thats fine. There just isnt' another player on the 15 to cut. Maybe they don't need a pau gasol on the bench this year because they all experienced a deep playoff run last season.

As expected Bucks do not make a move today. No reason to upset the chemistry on this team at all. As i said before, if a vet with playoff experience gets bought out, i'd be find with bringing him here, but could cut bait on Bender, and really not upset much chemistry.

I agree, i would be surprised if anything was done today. What I could see is that the bucks bringing in a vet later that was bought out in a few weeks, similar to what they did last year with gasol.

I thought the same thing. I understand what the dodgers and sox are doing, i don't get it from the Twins perspective.

bought my 4 month old son his first brewers shirt today, was waiting for the new logo stuff to show up in stores and saw a onesie at target.

I decided to cut the cord and was wondering what people use to do so. Really my own requirements are to be able to watch fs Wisconsin, fs1 and USA. ESPN would be nice. I think sling blue is the best option for me, but I’d lose ESPN.

I was at Target in Menomonee Falls this afternoon and did see brewers merchandise with the new logo on it, so maybe the floodgates will finally be open.

agreed, the only other guy that is possible is Yardley, but I'd think the brewers would want to see what he can do this spring. -

I think he gets the reputation from his treatment of Kerry Wood. I can't speak much about his days with the Nats or even Reds.

The astros have hired Dusty Baker. I don't get it. They have such a good rotation and you know he is going to run them into the ground as he has done everywhere else he has managed. He is also 70, so I question how long he will be managing the Astros. This is probably a 1 year thing so they can have a full hiring cycle to get someone in there full time. I can't be happy if I'm an Astros fan.

I understand why you do it. Starting pitchers are the highest paid players on the diamond after they hit free agency. You want to protect them. Also most them can't hit and they are human rally killers. That being said, it is pretty cool that baseball is the only league that has any difference between the 2 conferences. It makes the world series a little more fun to watch to see the differences in how the game is played on the road and at home. Ultimately, I think this will be enacted as a concession in the labor agreement negotiations. If you expand the rosters another spot for a DH, so every team will be carrying 27, you may get some sticking points through the MLBPA to get a deal.

I understand it, my point is that if I'm a brewers fan living in Appleton, i'd have to drive 2 1/2 hrs to get a sweatshirt. I think the prices of the stuff in their store are reasonable and inline with what you would pay at Kohls or elsewhere anyway.

Nike outfits the bucks and their stuff is all over. When they changed brands, the bucks opened mini pro shops throughout the city in all of the name of the game stores. The stuff was also available at Kohls. Nike packers gear is everywhere. I understand that part of the reason to change brands is the amount of money you make with new merchandise, but this feels like fans are just being taken advantage of. Atleast they could put more stuff up on their online store than jerseys and a handful of tshirts and hats.
