  1. http://aroyalpain.com/2014/06/11/kings-bucks-trade/ I'd do knight / sanders for McLemore / #8 / spare parts in a heartbeat.
  2. bad trade, draft wiggins or embiid then and worry about neither wanting to be here later.
  3. so most fan uniform concepts are pretty lame, but I really do like this. the logo would need some work though.
  4. i think the font should be updated, i do like the piping on the side of the jerseys. I also would hope that the logo of the late 80's isn't considered for more than 2 seconds.
  5. I would trade 2 for 3 and 10 if that is a possibility. The Nuggets are looking to trade #11, i wonder if the 31st pick and a player protected 1st round pick would do it. You could be looking at bringing in Parker, and then 2 out of Gordon, Levine, or Harris
  6. Adam Rose was hurt in Green Bay. I think he is not nearly as good as a wrestler as Bo Dallas but his gimmick may put him over, doubt he will ever be anything more than a mid card wrestler though
  7. if Embiid goes #1 and philly really wants Wiggins, I could see them trying to move up and this allows the bucks to take parker and get #10, maybe you have to throw in #31 or 36 too. Then you can look at a Gordon. Of course it depends if the bucks think one of the 2 is much better than the other. We have no idea who they favor.
  8. i could see them packaging 2 or 3 2nd rounders to get an additional mid 1st round pick, but its going to be hard to get 3 lottery picks. It would be awesome if they can pull it off, but its Hammond so we shall see.
  9. I like him, very impressed by him. Hopefully he has a future as a full time member of the broadcasting team. Much better than Block without the experience of calling games that Joe has.
  10. The bucks will be hiring a president (a much needed move). Its too early to say if drew is as good as gone. Its fine to get rid of him but you have to think who are you going to get to replace him if you fire him in July. I don't see a better coach available.
  11. I wanted Newcomb, I prefer college arms as they are less of a risk, but obviously Seid goes more for High School arms. I think Newcomb will be the first player up from this class. When you don't have a great farm system, the best way to improve it is to get players that can progress through the farm system quickly, picking a kid who just turned 18 is not that.
  12. regarding Drew, considering the quality of coaches experience wise that the lakers and knicks are going after, I'd keep Drew. IF he was fired, I wouldn't really be too upset but I just question if they will get a better coach than what they have now.
  13. I just hope the new owners do not do anything too crazy, when i first read they were considering a color change, i remember the rumors about the raptors changing to black and gold. http://nba.si.com/2013/12/30/toronto-raptors-jerseys-drake-black-gold-ovo/ i really want them to go back to their roots with green and white and dump the red.
  14. this thread as been dead of late mostly due to not much happening since WrestleMania, that all ended yesterday with the break up of the shield. Its going to be interesting to see where this goes. Will the shield get a new 3rd member? Is Rollins really in evolution? I know the rumor was that Triple H would fight Reins at summerslam, but you think at MITB, there will be a 6 man tag somehow now. There really isn't a face that fits in well with the shield though unless someone like Neville or Zayn comes up.
  15. the name is fine, deer hunting is a huge tradition in the state and it honors it. The logo is OK but can be improved and the color scheme needs to be updated.
  16. Blaze orange would look horrible. I am not really a fan of black as a main color. It is something NBA teams in the early - mid 90's would do. Classic colors are in, the purples, teals etc are a thing of the past (new hornets not are an exception) The bucks could incorporate different hues of green without blatantly coping the uniforms from the mid 80's, even though if they did I wouldn't have a problem with it. I will say though that the old bucks logo does not hold up the test of time and that could not be brought back.
  17. huge news from marc and wesley over the last few days: -bucks looks at changing logo and color scheme -bucks looking at bringing in 5-10 local investors -bucks looking to hire a team president i really have a good feeling about these owners. seem to be doing all of the right things, i actually think they will be able to pull off getting this new arena.
  18. he has entered a tied game at Wrigley and a 1 run game and completed blew the game wide open, I am counting him costing atleast 1 game. They have bigger issues than Wang, but the team basically is trying to stay in first with one less guy than everyone else.
  19. Bucks will play a home game in London against the knicks on January 15th
  20. Paul, i agree with you. I think Parker will have the best rookie season out of the 3, but has the least potential, plus i don't know where you play him in Milwaukee. I guess if Embiid is the pick, i won't be as disappointed as i thought i'd be last week.
  21. http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2014/story/_/id/10997749/potential-no-1-overall-pick-joel-embiid-visit-cleveland-cavaliers very interesting, looks like if Embiid does not visit the bucks, he most likely is the pick for Cleveland.
  22. Smith's splits against righties is a little higher than you would like for a closer (.241), frankie is .216 against righties / .170 against lefties, which is probably much higher over the last 2 weeks.
  23. Hammond has been OK with the draft. It hasn't gotten him anywhere. Sanders had one good year and got paid and reverted to a head case. Henson's production has slowed down under Drew. Giannis has huge potential but needs to develop a jump shot. Jennings didn't do anything great after his rookie year. Harris played well on the Magic, but Hammond stupidly traded him away for a rental. Maybe you can't mess this pick up, but don't confuse Hammond with Jack Z.
  24. This has been Hammond's strategy since day 1. Every 1st round pick he has taken has been a project. Mostly due to the position of where the bucks were taking, they took players with huge upsides with mixed results. At the end of the day the bucks still had the worst record in the league. the finally have an opportunity to take a franchise player without as much risk. If they draft Embiid, I won't be as upset as some on this board and other boards, but he is by far the largest risk/reward player in the last few drafts. If the bucks pass on a Durant to get greg odem, it will put the franchise farther behind than they already are.
  25. I could see Hammond passing on Parker because of the Greek freak, which would be a mistake. I just hope the cavs take Embiid and saves Hammond from possibly making a terrible decision.
