  1. http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=2/18/2008&id=35764 he just apologized for the distraction of being put in the mitchell report. i guess thats what you have to do since lying or telling the truth could have negative legal ramifications. i honestly hope that we don't have to deal with it, he shows he can pitch like how he did in texas and both sides win.
  2. Melvin has said he would look into doing that, i believe on 1250. I know the loss of Yo hurts, my point though is that if we can get a "linebrink like" deal we should still look into it despite the loss of Yo for the first couple weeks of the year.
  3. as long as you can get them for 8 bucks in advance, i don't see the big deal. just get a pass when you buy your tickets. weekend games sell out anyway these days so you have to get your tickets early. plus unless you get there early, the lots have been actually filling up so buying them in advance ensures you get a pass.
  4. haven't heard a peap if the 80's alternates are coming back or not. Does anyone know if they are or not. To be honest i wouldn't be upset if they didn't. It was a great novelty the first year and it was cool to honor the 82 team last year, but we really need to start making our own memories and bringing out 82 players every weekend doesn't help that. just wondering. i know there has been announcements and the winter warmup the last 2 season and i haven't heard anything.
  5. i still think if the brewers can trade a starter for mid-level prospects they should. Parra can start the season up here instead of Nashville and continue to get some major league experience and we can possibly replace players link inmann in the system.
  6. 1 vote for the national tour, but it looks like its always snows in october is a runaway, which i like as well.
  7. link further proof that Braun is a good guy, i just wish the brewers or braun didn't have to release a press release after it was done.
  8. yeah i got the same email and was thinking about it, but i figure i have better things to do than go down there and watch them get killed by one of the best teams in the nba.
  9. yeah when i saw the trade, i thought it didn't make much sense for the mavs. They are giving up a young pg and a 1st along with spare parts and expiring contracts for a pg that is at the end of his control. He seems to be performing at a high level this year but his still 35. There are a lot of teams in the west that are definitely in a win now mode.
  10. check your inbox
  11. looks like 15 were arrested http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=2/13/2008&id=35581
  12. looks like east side vs west side fights on all 4 floors link
  13. you know that school confuses me. Its the nicest and newest school in mps. From past reports the school is full of students who have been expelled from other schools. There has been more trouble there than just about anywhere in mps. You would think they would put students in there that would like a technical background for college instead of just a holding chamber for the worse of the worse.
  14. yeah i have a bat, how much would you want for it.
  15. It doesn't matter if its leap year or not because Lent always begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Thursday. It will always be 47 days long.
  16. I know its kind of a shot in the dark but does anyone have an extra fielder bobblehead that they are willing to sell. I knocked mine over yesterday and its unrepairable. I checked out ebay and there are a few on there but i figured i'd check here first. I can make a cash exchange with anyone in the Milwaukee area.
  17. I wouldn't call me thin, but definitely not fat. I am trying green tea. therefore i get my caffeine at work without having any calories. I would be happy if i lost a few pounds doing this over lent and maybe it would give me motivation to keep it up.
  18. i'm giving up soda and pizza which will be hard because i have pizza 2-3 times a week and i drink over 100 ounces of coke a day.
  19. i don't listen to as many bucks game as i used to but i like Ted Davis. He is especially good in blowouts on the road when he doesn't have Krause. He definitely has a very unique style to him.
  20. i thought it was very bland. I wish there was a way to not go to one extreme and have 80's rock bands or go to mtv timberlake garbage. While its not my thing, a Carrie Underwood who would put on new music and wouldn't make an fool of herself would be a better choice.
  21. all right i have played the heck out of mlb 07: the show and want to get something new. I tried a few racing games and realized that i am terrible at them. I am thinking i want an action / adventure game. can someone recommend one. i am thinking resistance (i know its older), or call of duty 4. i really only have the system to play baseball so i don't know much about the other titles and going to gamestop to look at boxes doesn't really help.
  22. The brewers right now have 13 pitchers who i believe to be out of options and has to make the team ( gagne, turnbow, riske, torres, mota, shouse, sheets, yo, suppan, CV, bush, cappy, and vargas). I think it would be fine if we can't get a decent trade to break camp with that staff, and parra in the minors. A trade can easily be swung when someone goes down or you have backup if one of our own goes down. I wouldn't be in a huge rush to trade for trades sake.
  23. well the only time i was on, my roommate tried to moon the jumbotron and we were taken off immediately.
  24. i like the list, but unless we can get those guys on waivers i'd rather give "system kids" like stetter, bray, and pena a try.
  25. anderson has worn on me and i like him. When he came in he was so in contrast to matty v and daron sutton that it took a while to get used to. The rock is decent. He may not be the most exciting but he has knowledge and picks up alot of stuff that ba missed. Overall the broadcast is so much more professional that the wgn ones. I also was happy to see the end of bill's grill and all the other fluff that was a staple on broadcasts.
