I am not one to play nba games but decided to pick up one last night. I got nba live 08 for ps3. Didn't really play it, but i put it in just to see if the bucks rosters were up to date. To my suprise there was not only no Yi but no Mo Williams and Charlie Bell. Also Julius Hodge and Earl Boykins were on the roster. They may be in free agents or something, didn't have the game on for more than 2 minutes, but so far i am very disappointed. Does anyone play basketball games, did anyone get this one yesterday? If you guys picked up others, are their similar problems. I got live cause i thought it would be cool to have a game with a FIBA license.

I hate this philosophy. If that is your attutude, he should be fired now. If we start off slow, and Ned is let go, we loose an entire season with the kids. I am convinced Ned is a better manager than Sveun. Since you can't get anyone good in May, it would make sense just to start a new in April.

that z vs webb matchup looks very entertaining.

it would be incredible if both teams are fighting for the nl central again in the last week of the season to be playing each other here.

this month has been very stressful, but it still has fun. Usually Septembers is a time for a bunch of minor leaguers, journey AAAA players and the like to play at Miller Park trying to be spoilers. That is how my childhood was. While its been frustrating, to actually be able to get frustrated instead of keeping your eye on the kids to see if they can help next year or watching draft position, has been fun.

i liked kevins monologue on how he is convinced pam and jim are dating. I also like Dwight's and Michael's exchange on that it was a good thing that it was only Meredith.

"i am not superstitous, but i am a little stitous." "you don't know me, you have only seen my penis" so funny, gets your mind off this crummy game.

the easy answer is we don't know. Cordero and Linebrink are free agents so alot depends on what happens to those 2. Turnbow will most likely be back. Shouse just turned 39 but i would like to see him back and he has proven that he can still pitch. Nobody knows if Wise is ever going to get his head on straight but i think he should be given a chance to in spring training. Besides Sheets, Suppan, Villaneuva and Gallardo, I could see any of the starters in the long man role in the pen. Then you have a bunch of guys like McClung, Aquino, Spurling which can easily be replaced. Its too early to panic for 08 since we don't know what Ned has in mind.

i think the idea would work without a fee. It would be a great way to get people to buy DS's that normally wouldn't. I might even consider buying the 150 dollar unit for just that. I think that would be a good business idea to increase market share instead of getting people to put down 5 bucks a game.

i just got an email from the brewers telling me i didn't win tickets, good for me that i have playoff tickets secured through my friends parents for 1 playoff game per series. Now we just got to win some games. Did anyone on this board win the lottery?

interesting article on ned yost's job security on espn.com 8 managers who may not be back

for an organization that has only been around 10 years to change your look 3 times is pretty extreme. I think the uniforms are bland and a downgrade from what they have now.

decent hire, although he never got his team to the playoffs he rebuilt the phillies.

they signed royal ivey today so it looks like they are going to let charlie walk. http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=2&date=9/18/2007&id=29309

that is not true. It is like that in the nba and nfl, but in baseball there is a 1 game playoff. Due to the already performed coinflip the game would be at Wrigley.
  23. patrickgpe
i think that is what happened.

from that i got that he had previous blogs (prior to the 15th) and he erased them and praised the organization. 2 days later though he decided he was gong to let it rip again only to delete them 1 day later. I think this technique of going through your blogs is childish. If he didn't want to come here, fine. To do it the way he has been doing it is not cool. In fact i can't name another fa that used myspace to rip his previous organization and divulge things that were said during contract negotiation. If you want to rip the bucks do it through the newpaper or the tv stations. Then there is a permanent record of what you said. To go through your blogs and delete them one day later is immature and takes alot less risk and heat off of you.
