  1. he adds depth to the system which really doesn't have an advanced prospect to fill in if needed besides Parra. He and parra has been the biggest surprises in camp for me.
  2. i thought i'd streamline and create a thread where people can make predictions and let the wisconsin thread be there to discuss the badgers. I though we would predict: 1. highest seed to advance to 2nd round 2. highest seed to advance to sweet 16 3. how far marquette will go 4. how far the badgers will go 5. final four. 6. champion. 1. 14th seeded cornell 2. 12th seeded temple 3. loose to texas in sweet 16 4. loose to georgetown in elite 8 5. georgetown, north carolina, ucla, texas 6. ucla over north carolina. of course i reserve the right to change this before 11am on thursday as i learn more about the smaller schools that i haven't seen as much of as the big east and big 10 schools.
  3. pedro. cal eldred was my favorite brewer from the dismal mid 90's era. i'd love to have that ball.
  4. i'm going to have to atleast get the yosted shirt. nice job guys.
  5. always fun, and the plus side is the more brackets i create, the better chance that i can do decent for one of them
  6. I'd go with Munson. Looking at his AAA numbers last year compared to Rivera's added with Rivera's struggles this spring and that Munson is a lefty should win him the job.
  7. the one thing i hate about the show is that i can't play a season and update rosters for the teams controlled by the cpu as was allowed in mvp. i usually play a 162 game season and try to keep every teams rosters accurate. i have never been a franchise guy since rosters get too unrealistic and i never finish season 1 anyway. the road to the show may be fun. i'd create a brewer farm hand and see try to get him to progress.
  8. i really wished wgn would of picked this game up today. i'd so rather listen to the game than endless favre coverage.
  9. best buy has said it was guaranteed at 2. usually when i reserve a game at gamestop they tell me it will be there once ups arrives which is late morning early afternoon.
  10. i'm picking it up tomorrow. I got the demo and i can see a great improvement over the 07 ps3 version.
  11. three is noone on a 1 year deal. guys like tulo and sizemore are but gave up arby years to do so. prince can't have it both ways.
  12. Fielder will probably get 11 or 12 million next year. If he felt he should get around 900k instead of what he got, I think the next payday will help him. I saw on the news he is getting more than any non-arby player which he deserves. That being said I don't know if 300k is worth pissing off a potential superstar.
  13. i know the answer was in a thread a while back but i can't seem to find it. does anyone know when the tickets go on sale to the general public? --------------------------- edit 1: Instead of starting a new thread with this information, I thought it best to piggy back right here. edited title to reflect questions of this post. (bj15) edit 2: Added to Designated Threads List (1992)
  14. i don't think thats the way he wanted to make his brewers debut...
  15. not a good way to get a spot in the rotation..
  16. stupid gameday is still in warm up, thanks sheets wannabe again for doing the pbp

  19. kevin borseth can be added to the john l smith, dan hawkins, jim mora, mike gundy club http://ballhype.com/video/kevin_borseth_on_wisconsin_loss/ Linkification - b19
  20. i have verizon for the sole reason that they backup my phone numbers and if i would of ever lost my phone or get a new one, i don't have to put in all my new numbers. I can download my phone book. I have had it for 5 years and really never had a problem with them. i know they are not part of your list, but i am throwing it out.
  21. no i can't say i have done that. I will check out their stats in a few weeks to see how the regulars are doing, but at this point not too much can be drawn from the brewers or cubs victories today.
  22. i am pretty impressed with the non-roster players, atleast today. if nothing else they are serviceable aaa players and insurance for us.
