  1. I don’t think he will be around at 78 and I could see the packers taking him with a 2nd. With Rodgers gone I don’t see how they don’t keep 3 qb’s on the roster anyway ( one vet and one rookie)
  2. Yes I’d prefer a vet to be the backup. There are still options out there. To have a 1st starter and a rookie as your qb room is tough
  3. Yes, especially with the (so far) reluctance to sign a back-up.
  4. I agree that they will draft a QB. I know Bennett has a lot of baggage but maybe GB is the perfect place for him to take a 7th round chance on.
  5. @LouisElyThank you! Another great write up. Washington is my favorite player in the draft, @MVP2110 Thank you as well, you obviously put a lot of time and effort into those rankings. Well done!
  6. seems like a 30 for 30 short?
  7. taller guy, needs some development, seems familiar......Christian Watson comp?
  8. RE: JSN Saw this over the weekend, https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10071587-report-zay-flowers-stock-surging-could-be-1st-wr-selected-in-2023-nfl-draft. I understand that you can't believe anything that is said between now and the draft, but it is an interesting note. I think JSN would be an excellent choice at 15, As would Johnson, Mayer, or Kincaid. If they are giving the keys to the kingdom to love, they got to get him some help.
  9. Packers are kind of being held hostage until the Rodgers trade is complete. Really only signed ST Free Agents to date.
  10. Its crazy to me that the Jets would give up their 13th for 1 yr of Rodgers. A 13/15 swap and a 3rd seems fair.
  11. I think the Packers have the leverage. They have their 2023 QB, Jets do not and all Jet fans now are expecting A-Rod. Packers can be as tough as they want to be as long as they know their is a chance they will get nothing, if he just retires instead of waiting.
  12. plenty of vets available, Mariota, Brissett, Bridgewater, etc
  13. wouldn't you want it resolved before the draft to get 2023 picks?
  14. He is announcing his decision on a podcast, which is similar to on ESPN. I guess yes its a little different due to age and that he isn't a FA, but its still out of the norm to announce if you will accept a trade on any media, most people jut get traded. If they have the ability to not accept, it just doesn't happen.
  15. A friend mentioned last night that this is no different than "The Decision" which was as bad of a PR move that any athlete has ever made, and I can't agree more.
  16. It’s funny that I don’t know a single person who is hoping Rodgers announces he is going back to Green Bay. This is totally different that Favre which was atleast 50/50.
  17. Rodgers will be on McAffee tomorrow at noon and put this drama to end. https://twitter.com/PatMcAfeeShow/status/1635756547656523777?s=20
  18. Good for Lazard, I always liked him but thats a decent amount of money for your 4th WR, just to appease Rodgers for a year or 2.
  19. Rappaport or Shefter. I'd settle for someone like Silverstein
  20. i expect it to happen, but I'm going to need a better source than Trey Wingo. Rappaport is saying nothing is done.
  21. he's got to be loving the attention and being able to hold up 2 teams offseason plans. It will be announced right before the start of free agency after the "legal tampering" i am going to guess.
  22. I’d rather just get the 13th pick
  23. I'm not a badger or hockey fan, but the program was elite. I think McIntosh wants to bring his guys. I think they will make a homerun hire. Also I think this means Gard's days are numbered.
  24. Washington intrigues me, just based on his size and pedigree The other 2 I really haven't seem much of so probably won't have an opinion until closer to April.
