  1. Nashville would be nice, but I'd prefer Indianapolis, just because of how the relationship with the brewers ended and they do have their long shot eyes set on a MLB club. I guess you do get the benefit of the new stadium. if San Antonio goes to AA, I would still prefer Biloxi. Much nicer stadium. If the brewers do put together a system of Nashville or Indy / ,Biloxi or SA / Carolina , Wisconsin, I think that is a pretty nice minor league organization.
  2. Personally I cannot blame the Bucks or Kings for this one. They never made a comment on the trade at all. We all know this happens all of the time and if it wasn't for a Woj Bomb, noone would be the wiser. I'd be surprised if it ever gets out if Bogdon actually agreed to a contract with the bucks or not. I still think it got reneged to avoid tampering charges for either team. you know darn well that deals will be agreed upon right at 5pm today that had to have been negotiated prior to the start of free agency.
  3. well bucks just released Ersan, so I think the ship has really sailed on this trade.
  4. he signed a 2 way contract with Denver last night already.
  5. My point was that yes hit a once in a generation home run with Giannis, but chased him with Maker, Wilson, and Vaughn, who were all high ceiling guys and were big duds. I like what they did yesterday, they took 2 older guys who can help next season but won't be more than bench guys probably. In theory, i'm OK with drafting for potential in round 1 and taking seniors in round 2. Its just that the hit rate isn't that great in the nba.
  6. I wanted a shooter, bucks got that in Nwora. Doesn’t seme like the bucks got 42 in the holiday trade. Overall I’m happy.
  7. I don't get the obsession with the UW guys. They were high draft picks that flopped. I'd rather bring in vets that actually are playing in the league and not Europe that are looking for a ring. yes I am not a UWB fan, so its a little biased I'll admit.
  8. are we sure about this? its literally referenced nowhere
  9. you are correct. NBA commish protecting teams from themselves.
  10. Here are the picks the pelicans get. 2020 first-rounder (No. 24) 2024 first-round swap rights 2025 first-rounder (unprotected) 2026 first-round swap rights 2027 first-rounder (unprotected) IF Giannis does sign his 4 year extension I wouldn't be too worried about 24&25; 26-27 could be rough....
  11. it was one of the 3 picks. Rumor is that the bucks did get 2 seconds for tomorrow's draft from NO.
  12. plus he is one of the better defenders as a point guard.
  13. that is a big part. I have seen almost every collegiate game he played in. Most of the 2nd round guys I cannot pick out of a lineup. it will be interesting to see where he goes tomorrow since he does have some negatives, but then again he is just a non-guaranteed contract 2nd round guy so the risk isn't large.
  14. dude can shoot, yes he sucks defensively, but if you want a shooter to come off the bench he did it consistently for 4 years in a pretty darn good conference. His NBA potential isn't great, but he does have one skill that no NBA team has enough of.
  15. Bucks are going to get some vet ring chasers. like I previously said, bucks can get a shooter in the draft. maybe there is a team looking to get out of a guaranteed contract and would take 42 and 60 for a late 1st and you could get a desmond bane or cassius winston.
  16. its bad. I am not against drafting for potential, but the problem is that most of the time it never pans out. Maker and Vaughn were probably the 2 biggest, lets try to get another Giannis picks they have made, both flopped big time. Wilson is right behind them too. Its a young draft, like it is every year, players get pushed down the draft board, simply for being upperclassman in the NBA. I think the bucks can get a pretty decent player that can help on Day 1, if they draft Winston or Bane. I mean if you want to draft a 7 footer who isn't even 200 lbs, and see if you can develop him, so be it, but I think we have seen that show before.
  17. Matt Arnold is not the Angels choice. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/11/angels-hire-perry-minasian-gm.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook I would think if this was happening, Arnold would have been named our GM by now, with the offseason underway.
  18. brewers should focus their efforts on finding help on the corners.
  19. thanks, just another reminder on how old I am....
  20. I think the player that would make the most excited is Winston. Yes he has no ceiling, but if the bucks are in win-now mode, he will help on day 1. Besides Green and Rahmsey, I'm seeing Bane available in more mock drafts. Similar to Winston, not much ceiling as a senior, but the bucks could sure use another 6'5" shooter. One more guy, Malachi Flynn, another older 3 and D guy.
  21. I am going to assume the answer to this question is a resounding NO, but any chance that the Milkmen and Brewers work out an affiliation agreement. I would have thought it is silly, but Somerset just upgraded from indy ball to double A today for the Yanks. The Milkmen do have a very nice facility. Somerset's stadium has a capacity of 6k, Milwaukee 4k. So that may be a factor.
  22. ESPN has a an article with offseason predictions for each team, brewers were predicted to sign Tommy LaStella, resign Braun, and trade for Josh Bell. I think that is a good offseason, the question I have is what do they have to do to get Josh Bell Ray and Turang? I know he had a down year this season, but he could stabilize the position if he gets back on track. I would be surprised the bucs move him. especially in division. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/30256874/predicting-offseason-moves-all-30-mlb-teams
  23. the finalists they brought in were so week, i think this was set up from the beginning.
  24. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/11/red-sox-to-hire-alex-cora-as-manager.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook it just looks terrible. I am kind of shocked that Hinch and Cora are back with managerial gigs just one year removed and just after their suspension ended. I would think they would have had to atleast serve as a bench coach for a bit.
