  1. This take didn’t age well.
  2. I think its a stretch to say thats a nice rotation. you got 2 good guys on the top end and questions marks everywhere else. That being said, if they brought him in, I wouldn't be upset.
  3. that sounds like Indy ball to me. Milwaukee Milkmen has had atleast 2 pitchers get signed by MLB clubs this season, so it does work. I do like your idea because these players would face better competition.
  4. I wish I would have watched AEW live last night, but watched NXT instead. Its cool to have him back as a regular character, but at 61 you can't expect much. It will be interesting to see who he aligns with. I am assuming its simply in a managerial role since he already stared down Arn Anderson.
  5. I think we will be seeing alot of this https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/12/staten-island-yankees-cease-operations-team-files-lawsuit-against-yankees-mlb.html
  6. my personal opinion is that stan johnson is more responsible for the success of the program than wojo. They recruit well and talent does win games. I understand at Marquette the best you are going to get is a lower division coach looking to get into the power 6 or a power 6 assistant. I also think Marquette will give Wisconsin a game. Like I said, the team plays good defense and is athletic.
  7. I thought it was a player or cash. I’ll assume the latter
  8. 100% agreed. They could not adjust to it at all. I know we will see it on Friday against UW. I feel like in college basketball specifically coaches are retained way longer than they should because the school doesn't want to lose recruits / current players who are their to play for that coach. When Buzz left, it literally took 2 years to actually have a college basketball program again. That first year of wojo, i think they had 6 scholarship players.
  9. I do not think they have ever been anti-brewers. They just thought Oakland was a better situation for them. They had the upper hand at the moment. MLB took away the upper hand (rightfully) from the minor league clubs. The saints just paid millions to get into affiliated ball and leave Indy. I would think it would be crazy to leave MILB to go play the Milwaukee Milkmen (no offense to them, I do like going to their games, but its not the same quality of play)
  10. I think this is the most athletic and the best defensive team wojo has had but in the end of the day when you need someone to make a shot, you don’t have anyone. It’s early and this was their first good opponent. Once they switched to a zone, Marquette had no answers.
  11. He has been on 6 teams (eagles twice) in the last 2 seasons. I’m going with NO
  12. I’m assuming, players drafted go to Low a. It’s 30 Less rounds. The organization will be less willing to keep older players around. It’s all about saving money
  13. I’d take Iowa as an affiliate then.
  14. The odd thing about the language is that I have been following that page for the last few PDC renewal cycles and they are never over top like that. If it was that simple they would have had Texas and Milwaukee in both Round Rock and Nashville columns. So maybe Balsamlaker is on to.something
  15. actually its a good thing that the packers didn't trade for fuller. If they gave up a 3 and he is suspended for 6 games, that would have been a disaster he cost himself alot of cash in Free Agency I think.
  16. Got to watch bits and pieces of the 2 games last week and I think they are definitely a team that got better by not having so much of their offense going through one player. The new players look really good. Garcia and John will be a great tandem inside. Very impressed by Carlton so far. Then you got Cain, McEwen, Torrence and Elliot, whom I have expected to improve their level of play this season. I am not sure the depth is there this year, but I think you got 6-7 solid players and they should be better than expected this year. Can't wait for Friday as a early season measuring stick.
  17. can't wait for Friday. Its been a while since both teams have been good. its too bad that no fans can be in the stands to see it. should be a good game.
  18. I don't think the updated spreadsheet has been posted here: Nashville's prediction is brewers and mystery team https://ballparkdigest.com/200905261902/minor-league-baseball/news/affiliate-dance-2012 no other changers to the brewers lineup, which i would expect brewers keep biloxi, wisconsin and carolina. I know tomorrow is the rumored date, but i'd be surprised if they roll out all 120 teams tomorrow.
  19. I have used both. Youtube TV has a better lineup (slightly). Only channel that I would occasionally watch that I don't have now is Comedy Central. The interface on Youtube TV is significantly better. Hulu TV is nice that you get access to Hulu included. i hate that you can't fast forward commercials when watching DVR'd stuff on Hulu. I have Hulu now, if neither service can figure out FS Wisconsin by spring training I'll have to figure out something else, which will probably be suck it up and go back to cable.
  20. maybe you could create something like the WWE network? Obviously the brewers cannot create their own network with 24/7 programming. If they did create something that one could watch on their phones / computer or smart TV and have on demand content, it could work. The issue is that you have to make money somehow. Right now everyone that has cable pays for the brewers game whether you watch them or not. Now you are decreasing your customer base by just getting money from baseball fans. Also you have a massive upfront cost to create the app. I would think you need all MLB teams to work together to create one app for all teams.
  21. i THINK that if we lose biloxi its because San Antonio is the brewers affiliate. If the brewers are stuck with Round Rock, it would make sense to partner up with San Antonio. I guess to keep the Timber Rattlers they would have to move up to high A
  22. First looks of the signage unveiled today. https://www.tmj4.com/sports/baseball/milwaukee-brewers/your-first-look-at-what-the-new-american-family-field-signs-will-look-like The scoreboard looks OK but the outside marquee looks wrong. This is what I was worried about, that space was built for miller park and fit perfectly, with all of the empty space, its going to take some time to get used to that.
  23. that looks forced mets and yankees have such an iconic hat logo, not sure why you have to rip off the brewers
  24. need a RB, getting killed by injuries (swift, Montgomery, and Mixon) and byes (Moss). I did pick up Peterson but now wondering if the better play is Kerryon Johnson. He is also available for now. I know we have no idea what Matt Patricia will do. Whom is the better play? (PPR)
  25. no surprise, but Shams is reporting bucks are moving on from Bogdan. Will be interested to see what they do over the weekend. I understand they just don't have the flexibility to anything significant. Releasing Ersan made it hard to match salaries with any significant player.
