What is with Yost's insistence to not pull any of his pitchers until they give up runs? Why do you let a guy stay in there after walking 2 batters, much less 3?

Absolutely inexcusable for a major league pitcher to walk three straight hitters. Especially with two outs, nobody on, and the bottom of the order up.

The worst part was Villanueva was pitching to those three guys like Bonds or Pujols was at the plate.Looked petrified to throw a strike to a bunch of crappy hitters.

Why would Yost be warming up a pitcher when Villanueva got the first two outs of the inning right away? How can Yost bring in a pitcher when he probably wasn't even ready to begin with and no signs of trouble showed right away? If anyone could have predicted that series of events given that Villanueva has been pretty good this year, they should really get themselves some lottery tickets.

Complain all you want about the bullpen usage because to be honest its questionable but to be fair CV threw a good pitch to that last batter and he just barely blooped a hit. That is the type of hit which is just luck, they got the luck and it fell in.
