Bush up in the bullpen?? But you were doing so well, Ned! What happened!?

Please tell me we're not going to revert back to yanking Bush back and forth between the rotation and bullpen and watching it fail miserably like we did last year until Ned finally came to his senses. Can't Villy pitch an inning or something??

Here's to hoping for more Graffy magic.

Please not Bush...

I have painful memories of a Ben Sheets start going from a 1-1 game to a 6-1 game last year.

I don't think I can stomach another extra inning game..

i'd love to see bush be the only guy we need in extras here... the last thing we need against the cubs is a tired pen

Bush. Looks like this throws a kink in Ned's plans?

Rotation Set To All-Star Break

"After Capuano passed his test, Brewers manager Ned Yost lined up his starting rotation through the All-Star break. Yovani Gallardo will start Friday's series opener against the Cubs, then will report for bullpen duty until further notice. Ben Sheets will start Saturday in Chicago and Yost named Dave Bush to start Sunday over Claudio Vargas.

In Pittsburgh, beginning July 2, it will be Jeff Suppan followed by Capuano, Vargas and Sheets. Bush, Suppan and Capuano will then pitch in Washington as the Brewers finish the first half."

are we doing that whole 'have Bush pitch his bullpen session during a game' thing again this year? can't remember that working out too well last year when we tried it. hopefully he can still go sunday.

I'm sure if Yost had thrown Latin Cappy or Spurling in there, you guys would praising Yost.

How many relief appearances did Bush have last year, just that one? What a huge trend!

What about Bush's performances as a reliever last year makes him the right candidate to come out of the pen here?

He's not pitching out of the stretch yet. This is different. This is like a start for him now. It will only last until we can score a run. Hart, Hardy, Braun, Fielder should do the trick.

I'm so glad that Bush is in this game. Capellan is just awful...I think I actually like Dessens more than him! That says a lot.

I don't think Yost weighs Bush's two appearances as damning evidence. He's an arm that's available. I can't see him being worse than Spurling or Latin Cappy and he can go several innings if needed.
