Here are a few from Shea a few weeks ago. I love when new stadiums get built beyond the outfield of the existing stadium. The view is pretty neat.

Also, here is one I took last year of the a portion of the group of "The Future". The lighting was bad, but it's one of my favorites.

The only time I took my camera to the game, taken with Canon 28-135 lens. Can't wait to bring a better lens soon.

To each his own I guess, but if you do buy that hat are you going to leave the sticker on it? What is up with that? Why do people do that, or leave the tag hanging from the top, I don't understand that. Are you just going to wear it for a short time then take it back? Are you just too lazy to remove it? I often wonder if you go to these peoples houses are the tags still on everything? Is the for sale sign still in front of the house from when they purchsed it? Is there a big orange sale tag on the TV?

Haha, well said. No, I would not leave the sticker on it. I just thought it looked kinda like an 80's style cap (like something I would see in White Men Can't Jump). I also don't understand why people leave the stickers on hats, its dumb. I think a lot of people collect those kinds of hats or something, much like nike shoes....who knows.

man, I can't wait to get to Chase to take some good action shots with my camera setup this summer. I've seen what you have (on tv, of course) and mine is very similar. One of the main reasons I bought the camera.

I've got a Canon 40D, which is really nice, it also has a zoom lens 28-200 mm that allows for those close shots. The only thing that stinks is that it is lousy for night games since it has a f 3.5. I can get a larger lens to allow for better shots at night, but those run into some serious cash.

If you're just getting started, I'd suggest the Canon Digital Rebel, which is what I had for a number of years and it worked great. I upgraded to the 40D since you can get 6.5 shots per second, where the Rebel was 3 shots per second, so you didn't end up with the shots like I posted with Prince and Braun.

MP is very hard to take pictures in at night. Not nearly enough light in the park to take great shots unless you buy a expensive lens like was mentioned before.

Is it just me, or does Craig look like he's 'crip walking' (a dance) in that pic?

That is exactly what camera I bought! A school photographer actually suggested it to me in the fall and we bought it for Christmas. LOVE IT! I just bought my zoom lens (75-300) about a month ago and I'm eager to try it out. And yeah, the "action" setting is awesome with the high shots per second.

The one thing you'll find is that with a digital camera is that your zoom will end up being more like a max of 450 mm, so if you would compare your shots to a 35 mm film camera, you actually get a lot closer with a digital camera. You're going to be amazed at the detail you can get with these zoom lens. Enjoy!

It isn't bad when the roof is open, but when that bad boy is shut I don't even bother bringing a camera.
