I guess I fall in the category of not liking the guy very much because I enjoy watching TGJ play. I like his punch-and-run style, his defense, and his ability to cause havoc on the base paths.

 

With the amount of homeruns the Brewers hit, I'd really love to see more guys who can get on base so we get 2 or 3 runs on a HR instead of just 1 all the time. I don't care how fast they run or anything, because a lot of our offense is going to come via the homerun so speed doesn't really matter. This offense isn't really built to be a "small ball" type offense.

If we don't score, with Byrd / Young / Sosa in the 8th, I'd use Cordero now and then somebody else in the 9th...you could use Shouse vs. Cat and then Kinsler and Wilkerson should be enough for TBow.

Hey guys. We are playing like garbage offensively and our Ace has done his job. I hope he comes in for the 8th.

 

If not, and TBow blows it, heads are going to roll. However, I believe TBow can keep these guys down. Just throw strikes!

If Turnbow gets in any trouble would you bring in Cordero in the 8th to get a 5 or even 6 out save? I would consider it.
