Just what the Brewers need right now. Ruffle a few feathers a little bit. Vin Scully just got done saying Villanueva loved the way Pedro Martinez throws inside to back off hitters and intimidate. He showed that he has a little Pedro in him vs. Martin in that AB by brushing him inside.

And then why do teams move guys from CF to RF/LF as their skills decline?

 

Lack of speed and arm strength, it has nothing to do with the ability to read a baseball off the bat, which is what Hall struggles with. Bonds, Carlos, and Manny don't work as examples because of this reason. As players age, they move to the corners because they can't physically run balls down anymore, not because of tracking ability.
