The one I wonder about is why the Orioles are in the top 10. They've been bad for a while and every time I've gone to a game in Baltimore, the stadium has been half empty.

The O's have a pretty loyal following, but many have stopped actually going to the games as a protest until Peter Angelos finally sells the team.

I'd like to see the geographical popularity broken down a little more. I'm wondering if away from the East Coast if Boston would rank higher than NY. I coach a youth baseball team and I think if you asked them which team they liked best outside of the Brewers, many of them would say Boston. I'm not just talking about this year, but for the past 2 or 3 years. In fact, some of the kids wear Red Sox t-shirts on occasion to practice. I think it's the Big Poppy thing.
