I will be working during today's game, but will follow on Gamecast and try to catch the end of the game. I can't believe it's Opening Day, it's been such a long and tantalizing offseason.

well, here is my first official in-game thread post of the new season. Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as DHonks and won't be doing any communication with the outside world until I get home from work and can watch the game.

I woke up this morning with 6 inches of snow on the ground outside my house, like some cruel late April Fool's joke. Normally I wouldn't even hesitate to run to the ski hill, but today is a different kind of day off.

well i prefer being a lurker, but don't want to be accused of bandwagoing... go Crew! Let's start this season off right and alone in first (even if for a couple of hours)

 

I'm with you here. It doesn't get any more exciting than Opening Day. You'd think with a former owner in the White House, we could get this day declared a national holiday!!!

Hello all,

Out where I am living, it was a cool, cloudy day yesterday with temps in the low 50's, but today the sun is out and the high is going to be around 80. However, by Wednesday it's going to be back into the lower 50's. I think we're having such a nice day due to it being the real opening day. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Anyway, for gameday graphics and updates, MLB.COM is pretty good and they have upgraded their gameday feature.

Can't be in Milwuakee, but I still took the day off and I have DirecTV so I'll be watching from my home on TV.

Craig is now calling it "FSN Wisconsin". Is that official? Are we no longer under the control of Minnesota-centric FSN North?

It may be changing it's name to FSN Wisconsin, but DirecTV still is not showing the special pregame show on channel 642, at least outside of Wisconsin, even though it's listed on their schedule.
